Friday Sermon: Proclaim the bounties of Allah: 26th August 2016 (Urdu)

Friday Sermon – Khalifatul Masih V – Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Year 2016

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except God and I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is His Servant and Messenger. After this I seek refuge with Allah, from Satan, the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The Gracious, the Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. Guide us in the right path; The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings,

Those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray. On the second day of the Jalsa Salana United Kingdom, I describe the rainfall of the blessings of Allah the Almighty. Reports from various departments are presented, outlining the progress of the Jama’at.

Alongside this, I also relate faith-inspiring accounts. However, in just one or two hours it is not possible to mention all the facts and figures in-depth or relate all the accounts, and ultimately I return with more or less most of the notes that that I bring with me to present

Tahrik-e-Jadid have started to publish each year’s statistics in book form. I normally present the faith-inspiring accounts at different times and today also I have selected some accounts that demonstrate how Allah the Almighty is inspiring the hearts of people around the world.

Sometimes dreams lead a person to the truth of Ahmadiyyat. At other places a book or literature of the Jama’at proves to be the means of Tabligh. At other times opposition to Ahmadiyyat become the catalyst for the spreading of the message.

Sometimes the sincerity and devotion of Ahmadis appeals to others. Then, we observe amazing displays of faith and conviction by Ahmadis in far-off and remote areas of the world. Take, for example, the Tarbiyyat of children; they transform completely after entering Ahmadiyyat

And others are compelled to notice this change. In short, by assessing this in a fair manner we can say that we may indeed be making efforts to spread the true message of Islam under an organised system; however,

The fruits being planted by Allah the Almighty Himself are far greater compared to our efforts. Or in other words we can say and it is the truth, that Allah the Almighty is directly facilitating the mission of the Promised Messiah (as)

To spread the message of Islam and opening the hearts of the people to accept it. Allah the Almighty revealed to the Promised Messiah (as) ‘I shall cause thy message to reach the ends of the world’ and thus Allah the Almighty Himself fulfils this mission.

Certainly, every sensible Ahmadi fully understands that the progress of Ahmadiyyat is not occurring through our efforts and resources but rather through the blessings of Allah the Almighty. So now rather than prolonging this introduction, I shall proceed to present some of these accounts

A missionary from Guinea Conakry says: ‘With the Grace of Allah, ‘a two page leaflet on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has spread all across the country. ‘Subsequently we received phone calls from remote and far off areas, in which people say

“We used to hear from our elders of the advent of the Messiah and Mahdi. “After seeing your leaflet we have yearned to meet you because we feel the time has come “when the Muslims at large need to have one Reformer.”

‘With the Grace of Allah, many people contacted us in a similar manner and took the Bai’at and joined the Ahmadiyya Community.’ Leaflets simply give a basic introduction and are one means, however in reality Allah the Almighty had prepared people’s hearts from beforehand.

Sensible people realise that the need of the hour calls for one Reformer, the Messiah and Mahdi. Who can really say how Ahmadiyyat reached this remote region or what exactly motivated this person to accept the message?

This is the work of Allah the Almighty and not the result of any human efforts. Tanzania is another country. The previous account was from West Africa and this account is from East Africa. A Missionary from Dodoma, a city in Tanzania, writes:

‘A women approached our stall at a Quran exhibition and asked in astonishment, “is this a Muslim stall?”. Gradually she was introduced to various books ‘and ultimately she purchased one which included material on Christianity. ‘One day after, the same women returned to our stall, this time with her husband.

‘Both were clad in army uniform (as both were in the army). The lady said: “This here is my husband and we have been married for some time. “I am a Muslim and he is a Christian.

“I have tried for a long time to convince him to accepting the teachings of Islam; “however, I have been unable to find good material on Islam. “When I came to your stall yesterday I felt as if I had come to the right place.

“Thus I purchased a book from you yesterday and gave it to my husband, “which answered many of his questions. “He said he hoped to get the answer to his remaining questions from you directly today.” ‘So we spoke to this couple for quite some time (with the missionary narrating this)

‘and ultimately the husband accepted Islam, ‘and both took the Bai’at and accepted Ahmadiyyat, the true Islam.’ The husband’s sincere passion to accept Islam attracted the blessings of Allah the Almighty and by chance he went there and Allah the Almighty enabled them both to True Islam.

It is not only in Africa or third world countries where through leaflets and preaching the message is spread and people are thirsty to learn more. In fact our missionary here from Huddersfield [UK] writes: ‘There are many people here who want to know more about Islam.

‘We distributed leaflets in Wansley town and made acquaintances with people through this. ‘After a coach was organised for over fifty men and women to visit our mosque in Huddersfield. ‘Their purpose was to gain more information about Islam. ‘A half-hour programme was held with this group,

‘in which presentations were given on Islam Ahmadiyyat, ‘and a question and answer session was held at the end.’ In short, for people to come to us of their own choice and show interest

Is in fact part of a link formed by Allah the Almighty everywhere in the world, where He directly inspires the hearts. On the one side we find people opposing Islam and alongside this Muslims themselves are defaming Islam. As a result some non-Muslims have exceeded all limits.

But on the other hand, Allah the Almighty Himself is creating momentum through which people are becoming interested towards understanding the true Islam. Then, we observe how in far-off areas of the world Allah the Almighty strengthens the faith and conviction of people and instils in them the spirit of sacrifice.

Ameer Sahib [National President of the Ahmadiyya Community] in Benin writes: ‘The jama’at of the Allada region constructed a new mosque this year. ‘The local members contributed to the construction of this mosque ‘with immense sincerity and devotion. They gave extraordinary sacrifices,

‘financially and also sacrifice of their time, and even helped the labourers in the construction ‘The ladies contributed to the construction of the mosque by bringing water from far away to those working.

‘The local traditional head of the village said this mosque is an abode of peace for the locals. ‘The chief said that this mosque is certainly a guiding light ‘for the future generations of the Allada region. ‘The locals here are mainly grave worshippers.

‘The local chief who is the King of his small vicinity said: “I used to be an idol worshiper at one point. “However today through Ahmadiyyat I have become a believer in the One God. He said to the people “I assure you

“that this [Ahmadiyya] Community is truthful and is the embodiment of love. “I obtained the knowledge purely through the Ahmadiyya Community “that although I am a King, there is a Great Emperor above me, “to worship Whom is obligatory upon all of us.”

It is only God Almighty, who can enlighten ones thoughts towards the truthfulness of the message of Ahmadiyyat, and that the teachings of Islam is true; and it is these true teachings that the Ahmadiyya community is spreading throughout the world. Through these teachings polytheists are becoming monotheists.

In this very area, an office bearer said that ‘When Islam was being propagated in the area ‘and people were being drawn towards Islam and Ahmadiyyat, ‘some people who had reservations about Islam and were against the Jama’at came to me

‘and expressed their concern that they [Jama’at Ahmadiyya] may be another extremist ‘or terrorist organisation which will kill our people and kidnap our children.’ As a result, the police officer of the area said that ‘we assigned our youth the task

‘of observing the activities of the Ahmadiyya Jama’at at various times of the day, ‘and their task was to check whether any of their activities were illegal, ‘but after a thorough investigation we are satisfied ‘that the sole aim of the Jama’at is to uphold peace.’

The opponents of Ahmadiyyat try their utmost through various incentives in an attempt to lure them away from Ahmadiyyat. However, even in these apparently distant places, where people are less educated or completely illiterate, God Almighty is granting them steadfastness in their faith.

One of our Mu’alim [Local Preacher] from Bozampeh, Benin writes that some people had the opportunity to perform Bai’at [pledge of allegiance] and a new Jama’at was created. He says that before taking the Bai’at they were Muslims under another mosque in the nearby town.

After their initiation there was constant correspondence with them. Classes to teach Quran, Salat [Muslim Prayer] and other Islamic practices were organised. After some time had passed, when it came to the knowledge of the local Imam, he started talking negatively against the Jama’at and started saying

“Ahmadis are not Muslims, they are infidels, you should leave them at once.” The group of new converts replied: “we have been in this area for a very long time. “You never came before to enquire about our wellbeing, “nor did you enquire about the religious education of our children.

“The Ahmadis came and taught us and our children the Salat [Islamic prayer] and the Quran, “and now you are coming to say that they are not Muslims. We cannot comprehend this matter. “How can we declare those people who have taught us the Salat and Quran as disbelievers?”

By the grace of Allah, all these individuals are steadfast in their faith and now in the same area the Jama’at has had the opportunity to make a strong, concrete mosque. Then another Mu’alim [Local preacher] also from Benin writes that,

During a Tablighi radio program an individual by the name Ghaanmunto Eric rung and invited the abovementioned [Mu’alim] to preach in his town. He states that when he was about to mention the details of the town the telephone line cut off and the conversation was disrupted.

He writes that ‘One day we went for a preaching expedition and arrived at village called ‘Sindraputa, when a man who saw us approaching stood up and turned to his people and exclaimed “Look, the people who we would listen to on the radio have themselves come to us.”

As a result of the preaching efforts more than 200 people performed Bai’at and a new Jama’at came into existence. Although they had only performed Bai’at a few days previously but the strength of their faith can be gauged by this incident;

It is mentioned that two days after the Bai’at there was a storm of heavy rain and wind. As a result the wall of Mr Eric’s house fell, killing his 8 month old son who was caught underneath it.

Since it was a village where polytheism was rampant, the polytheists of the village said; “Observe, you only recently joined this community and the difficulties have already begun”. To this he [Mr Eric] replied: “I only accepted on the basis of the truth that I witnessed.

“As for children, wealth and riches are all granted by God, “and He also has the power to take them away. “I will never back away from this community, whatever situation may arise. “I am an Ahmadi and – God willing – will remain one until my last breath.”

This is the strength of faith and the firm resolve of the oneness of God for which God Almighty instils in the hearts of the people, through the Promised Messiah (as). He also donated his personal land to be used as a Namaaz [prayer] centre and further still,

He made a temporary thatched roof so that classes to teach the Holy Quran could begin. This is how God Almighty opens ways for Ahmadiyyat and the true message of Islam. In this regard one of our missionaries in the Shinyanga region of Tanzania writes:

‘This year a new Jama’at was established in a village. ‘In another village of the same region another Tablighi [preaching] expedition was organised. ‘A woman from the former village – Mateebu – was coincidentally visiting ‘and when she heard the teachings of the Ahmadiyya Community

‘she invited us to spread the message to her village, ‘as there are already some Muslims residing there, as well as a mosque in place, ‘but the Islam you are preaching is completely different to their one.’ When our Mu’alimeen [Local preachers] went to that village,

On the first day 93 people joined the Jama’at, including the Imam of the mosque. ‘When the Sunni Maulvis of the area found out that these people have become Ahmadi, ‘he went to the village and said, “you people have gone astray from the right path.

“These people are not Muslim.” ‘To this the new converts replied that they had accepted Ahmadiyyat after deep contemplation ‘and it is indeed the true Islam, therefore they would not listen to anything he would say. ‘When he saw that the people refused to listen to him,

‘he then turned to the local Imam and said to meet him [the grand Imam] in his office. ‘The local Imam refused to meet him saying that he would never go to see him. ‘By the Grace of Allah all these new converts are strengthening their bond with the community

‘and a few are already part of the administration ‘Most of them are poor and at times are unable to pay for their own journey, but they ‘collectively paid to send their representative t the Shura [consultative meeting].

‘Due to the efforts of these new converts, the seeds of Ahmadiyyat have been sown ‘in two other nearby villages and the Jama’at has been established there.’ In addition to this, in the same Shinyanga region of Tanzania, another village entered the fold of Ahmadiyyat.

For many years Muslims resided in that village and there was a rudimentary mosque. When our Mu’alimen [Local Preachers] reached that village and spread the message, approximately 130 people of that mosque accepted Ahmadiyyat. Having accepted Ahmadiyyat, a senior gentlemen from among them, Mr Eidi sahib,

Attended the Shurah in March in Dar es Salaam, and seeing the strong organisation of the Jama’at had an overwhelming impact on him. He said that he had been a Muslim since 1993, but he is very fortunate that he has the opportunity to join the Jama’at.

Burkina Faso is another French speaking country in Africa. Our missionary from there writes that, ‘during the year ‘they had the opportunity to build a beautiful mosque in the Tangedco region. ‘When that village accepted Ahmadiyyat, ‘the entire village entered the fold of Ahmadiyyat with the Imam of the mosque.

‘At that time Maulvis from our opponents went to the village and said to them, “if you leave Ahmadiyyat, we will build a beautiful mosque for you.” ‘By the Grace of Allah, the Ahmadi Imam held fast to the lappet of Ahmadiyyat

‘and gave precedence to the rudimentary unfished mosque over that mosque ‘which would have been built by money from Kuwaiti or any other Arab states. ‘By the grace of Allah the Jama’at has had the opportunity to make a strong, concrete mosque

‘and since it was made next to the main motorway, all the village and surrounding areas ‘received the news of the construction of our mosque. ‘During the opening ceremony of this mosque, ‘all the Imams and dignitaries of the surrounding areas attended the event,

‘as well as the Kings of the region. ‘One of the Imams who was among those who opposed the Jama’at asked three times ‘whether what he had seen there was really Ahmadiyyat? ‘He said “this means whatever I had heard up until now about Ahmadiyyat was completely false,

“but now I can truly say that there is no Islam other than Ahmadiyyat.” Thus a true Muslim, who has a heartfelt desire [for the spread of Islam] and wishes to see it spread across the world, they can never even think of being disassociated with Ahmadiyyat.

Surely, in this day and age, no other form of Islam can be found other than Ahmadiyyat which is spreading the true message of Islam through the Promised Messiah (as), and which was destined to spread. The Amir of Benin writes, ‘One of our mosques was built in Bobiko region.

‘Ahmadiyyat entered this village in March 2015 and 245 people entered the fold of Ahmadiyyat. ‘Ever since they have accepted Ahmadiyyat, this Jama’at has continuously faced opposition. ‘They have faced opposition from their relatives as well as from the Imam of the village.

‘The local imam also invited other Imams to his village in order to oppose the Jama’at, however ‘by the grace of Allah the Almighty, the members of the Jama’at are firm on their pledge of Bai’a

‘This year while the mosque was being constructed the non-Ahmadi clerics began to openly oppose the ‘and would say to the people that it was better for them to offer their prayer in a church ‘than to pray in an Ahmadiyya mosque.

‘They also went to the house of the carpenter who was working in the construction of the mosque ‘and threatened him to not work on its construction. ‘However, despite these threats and the given circumstances, ‘by the grace of God Almighty, the Jama’at was able to construct a mosque here.

‘The mosque is very beautiful, it has two minarets that are 13 meters high ‘and can accommodate 375 worshippers.’ Then, we see how God Almighty guides people through dreams. San-Pedro is one of the regions of Ivory Coast and Zonam Ahmad Sahib,

Who belongs to one of the cities from there, did the Bai’at as a result of a vision. He was a Christian but later converted to Islam and joined the Wahabi sect. He says, ‘After accepting Islam, I learnt the Salat

‘and then regularly started to attend the mosque for prayers. ‘During this time, I saw a very noble person in my dream twice. ‘The first time I saw him, I immediately realised that this person was a prophet of God ‘and even thought that perhaps it was the Holy Prophet (saw).

‘After a while, I saw this person in my dream again and this time he was on TV ‘and someone was reciting the Holy Quran ‘and on the bottom of the screen it read in French: ‘Mission Islamic Ahmadiyya’.

‘After this dream, I enquired about the Ahmadiyy community from the imam of the mosque. ‘Initially, the Imam tried evade the question but upon insisting, he said, “Ahmadis are not Muslims. What has happened to you? Who has misled you?

“Why are you so eager to destroy your faith? There are no Ahmadis in this city.’’ The city in which the person lived, there were no Ahmadis living there. ‘He replied to the Maulvi Sahib, “No one has misled me because I have never met any Ahmadi

“but God Almighty has shown me the path leading towards Ahmadiyyat.” ‘After coming home, I became even more inquisitive about Ahmadiyyat. ‘After all who are these Ahmadis and why was the Imam calling them Kafir [disbelievers]? ‘I extensively prayed to God Almighty regarding this matter that,

“O Allah! Show me the right path.” ‘I continued enquiring about Ahmadiyyat from my circle of acquaintances ‘but failed to find a way of getting into contact with anyone. ‘Eventually, a friend told me that there were Ahmadis in another city called Daloa.

‘After asking people, I finally arrived at the mission house ‘and the missionary gave me an introduction to the Jama’at. ‘After seeing the picture of the Promised Messia (as) in the mission house, I was left astonished. ‘I asked the missionary and he told me

‘that this is a picture of the Imam Mahdi and the Messiah of this age. ‘And so, I took the Bai’at there and then, ‘and told the missionary that I saw this person in my dream twice.’

He also told our missionary, ‘though I have filled the Bai’at form today ‘but in fact I had become Ahmadi from the moment God Almighty had guided me in my dream. After doing the Bai’at , [Zonam Sahib] is now regular in paying his Chanda

And regularly offers his Salat and Tahajjud prayer at home. He is also preaching to the Imam of the local area as well as to others. Thus, these are the works of Almighty Allah and how He gives guides to people.

On the other hand, there are those who are still in doubt that is because their intentions are not pure. The Missionary-In-Charge of Belgium writes, ‘A new convert in Belgium, Idrees Sahib, saw a person in a dream -’ First we were talking about an account from Africa and now from Europe.

This is all due to God Almighty, Whose powers are manifesting everywhere. The Missionary-In-Charge says, ‘This friend, who saw the dream, ‘did not know anything about Ahmadiyyat at the time. ‘Two years ago, he was flicking through the channels and came across MTA Al-Arabiya.

‘When he saw the image of the Promised Messiah (as) on MTA, ‘he immediately recalled his dream because he had seen the same person in his dream. ‘And so, he regularly began to watch MTA ‘and in this way his heart began to become more and more inclined towards Ahmadiyyat.

‘After this, he searched for the contact details of the Jama’at in Belgium ‘and arrived at the mission house and said he has come to do the Bai’at . ‘The Missionary told him that he should first read about the Jama’at,

‘and get more information and then make his decision. ‘However, he replied that he had found the answer to all his questions. ‘When he was given further introduction of the Jama’at ‘and told about the issues which are commonly debated on, ‘he himself gave the answers to the arguments.

‘He said his heart was content from before and therefore did the Bai’at .’ Now, not only is God Almighty opening the hearts of people living in remote areas of Africa, but He is also doing it Europe also. Mali is another country of Africa. The missionary there writes,

‘An elderly gentleman came to the mission house and said that he would like to do Bai’at. ‘When he was asked why he wanted to do Bai’at, he said, “The night before I was listening to the live radio programme of yours

‘and some of the live callers were shouting abuse towards the Ahmadiyya community. ‘During the programme, I prayed to Allah the Almighty that ‘O Allah! Whoever of the two is on the path of truth, guide me towards them.’ ‘and while reciting this prayer, I fell asleep.

‘In my dream, I saw that on one side is a missionary of the Ahmadiyya community ‘and other side was those who were opposing the community and they were engaged in a debate. ‘However, when the opposition could not respond to the Ahmadiyya missionary,

‘they threw him into a pit and began throwing soil on him. ‘Meanwhile, someone appeared from the sky and said that he was the Mahdi ‘and then extended his hand forward and saves the Ahmadiyya missionary. ‘After this, I woke up and now I no longer have any doubts regarding Ahmadiyyat

‘and hence I have come to do the Bai’at .’ God Almighty opens avenues through MTA also. A friend from France, Murtaza Sahib was a Muslim but not an Ahmadi. He lived in an area where there was no other Ahmadi and has done the Bai’at this year.

He says, ‘In my childhood years, at the age of 8 or 9, I read a book which was titled, ‘Messiah Al-Dajjal’. The book mentioned three groups of people; ‘those who are successful, those who display cowardice and the third was the martyrs.

‘At the time, I prayed to God Almighty that, “O Allah! Enable me to join those who are granted success.” ‘Later on, we migrated to France, and here I came across the MTA channel ‘and in this way I was introduced to the Jama’at and from then on regularly started watching MTA

‘to the point that I became convinced in my heart of the truthfulness of the Jama’at ‘but I did not do the Bai’at. Due to some illness, I had no children ‘and I started to recite the prayers of the Promised Messiah (as) that get played on MTA

‘and as a result of the blessings of these prayers, God Almighty blessed me with a child, ‘even though the doctors had said that I could not have any children. ‘And so, after witnessing the sign of the Promised Messiah’s truthfulness, ‘I accepted Ahmadiyyat in 2016.’

Children’s programmes and their righteous upbringing has a great impact on people. A missionary from Benin writes that, ‘Children recited the Holy Qur’an and Arabic Qaseedah during the mosque inauguration in Atisah ‘On this occasion a non-Ahmadi Imam, Isaac Sahib started saying that

“The recitation of the Holy Qur’an and Arabic Qaseedah presented by children “has left a deep impression on my heart. If they were not learning such good things from childhood “then they would never have been able to present it in such a good manner.

“From this one learns that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is training children in a good manner. “I would like to request the parents “that you should definitely send your children to the [Ahmadiyya] mosque.” On the one side, those who teach Islam are making their children commit suicide attacks, but on the other side, by the Grace of Allah the Almighty, even the non-Ahmadi members

Who are under the influence of the Jama’at are directing attention towards this, that ‘send your children to the Ahmadi Mosques for training.’ Then it is our duty to train children and make them productive members of the society.

This is our responsibility. For this reason we train them and as a result, it has an effect on people regarding the Ahmadiyya Jama’at, as I gave an example before. Now, Sierra Leone is another country

Where one of our scholars is doing a lot of work in a Jama’at in Bowa region in Saan. He started to take a class for Ahmadi and non-Ahmadi children. In this class, he taught them basic religious education. A non-Ahmadi child started to participate in this class.

His name was Ahmad Pontay. He learned a lot. One day this child’s father, ‘Abul who was a non-Ahmadi, was performing ablution. This child whose age was about 11 or 12 years went to his father and said “You are not performing ablution in the proper manner.”

After this, he brought a full pot of water and showed to his father the correct manner of performing ablution and explained the prayer after performing ablution and the prayer when going to the mosque. His father was very happy after seeing this and asked him “Where did you learn this?”

He told him that all of this is taught in the class held at the Ahmadiyya Mosque. His father expressed great joy after hearing this and he went to our Mu’alim Sahib (Scholar) and said to him that “From today onwards, my son is under your supervision.

“You can make him do whatever work you like and continue his good training.” The way Jama’at trains children leaves a deep impression on these people who have not yet converted to Ahmadiyyat. All Ahmadi parents and the Jama’at administration should remember this.

Missionaries and scholars should also keep in mind that they should pay special attention towards the training of children. Firstly, there is a responsibility to take care of future generations and this a great obligation which has been entrusted upon us.

And secondly, new ways of tabligh and training further open up through children as well. It is a basic Islamic teaching to fulfill the due right of neighbours. There is also a commandment about this in the Holy Qur’an. The Holy Prophet (saw) has also emphasised upon this a lot.

Our Missionary from Ivory Coast writes that ‘Adama Sahib, a new convert, ‘took the Ba’ait this year and entered the Jama’at. He states that, “Before accepting Ahmadiyyat I used to pray in various non-Ahmadi mosques and I had heard “such negative things about Ahmadiyyat that despite being close to Ahmadiyya mosque,

“I would give precedence to offer prayers in other mosques.” He says that “One time when I go very sick, the Imam of Ahmadiyya mosque came to visit me. “This had a deep impact on me. “After my health was restored, I began to go to the Ahmadiyya Mosque for prayers

“and developed interest through the Dars and sermons which happened there. “When I read the books of the Promised Messiah (as), then my heart was convinced on the truth “that if there is one Jama’at which is committed to the Holy Qur’an

“and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (saw), then that is only the Ahmadiyya Jama’at. “Therefore, I took the Ba’ait and by doing so my children also took interest in the Jama’at.” Now he says that “It is the desire of my son who is in secondary school,

“to get education in Jamia Ahmadiyya after finishing his education “and to serve [his] religion as a life devotee.” By the Grace of Allah the Almighty, the way that the opponents try to create problems in our way and they are increasing in animosity, in the same manner Allah the Almighty

Is providing means to shut their mouths, and He is providing the means for the faith of every new convert to increase. Ameer Sahib Yadgir, India, writes that ‘Severe opposition started here in Karnatak last year. ‘The adversaries would invite scholars from outside to do speeches against Ahmadiyyat.’

The opposition of the Jama’at has reached new heights in India and Pakistan. He says that ‘very dirty and false allegations were made against the Promised Messiah (as). ‘The common people were incited against the Jama’at, due to which

‘some ignorant people treated the members of the Jama’at in a very uncivilized manner. ‘Pamphlets against the Jama’at were published. ‘During these days there was an Ahmadi who was completely cut off from the Jama’at, ‘he did not wish to keep any contact with the Jama’at,

‘and unfortunately he separated himself from the Jama’at. ‘The opponents made him join them by threatening him and bribing him with money. ‘They adorned him with flowers and created an uproar in the city ‘that we have converted a Qadiani Kafir [disbeliever] to a Muslim.

‘They lied a lot in the newspapers and because of this person, ‘there was a lot of opposition towards the Jama’at. He also spoke against the Jama’at. ‘When the Jama’at contacted him regarding this matter and asked him what his problem was,

‘he replied that “All these things published in the newspapers is definitely not what I said. “I have some constraints that I cannot share with you. I am with them because of that. He says that ‘After that, only a year had passed

‘when this person was seized by the punishment of Allah the Almighty. ‘He was completely healthy but all of a sudden he got dizzy and fell down. ‘His hand and leg on one side of his body were paralysed. ‘Non-Ahmadis did not provide any support to him.

‘Only our Khuddam came for his assistance at that time, ‘and they continued to take him to the hospital. ‘The doctor said that it is now difficult for him to live and ultimately he met his Creator.’ His son is a very sincere Ahmadi. The non-Ahmadis pressurised his son a lot

But he stayed steadfast to the extent that he did not attend his father’s funeral prayers because of his opposition. May Allah the Almighty strengthen his faith as well. These were a few incidents regarding the bounties of Allah the Almighty

That I presented before you. There are countless incidents such as these. May Allah the Almighty enable us to always become those who absorb his bounties and may we become those who offer the due right of Allah the Almighty.

May Allah the Almighty keep us steadfast on the favour that He has bestowed upon us that he has enabled us to enter Ahmadiyyat. And may He continue to increase us in faith and conviction. All praise is due to Allah.

We laud Him, we beseech help from Him and ask His protection; we confide in Him, we trust Him alone and we seek protection against the evils and mischief of our souls and from the bad results of our deeds.

Whomsoever He guides on the right path, none can misguide him; and whosoever He declares misled, none can guide him onto the right path. And we bear witness that none deserves to be worshipped except Allah. We bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is His servant and Messenger.

O servants of Allah! May Allah be merciful to you. Verily, Allah commands you to act with justice, to confer benefits upon each other and to do good to others as one does to one’s kindred and forbids evil which pertain to your own selves

And evils which affect others and prohibits revolts against a lawful authority. He warns you against being unmindful. You remember Allah; He too will remember you; call Him and He will make a response to your call. And verily divine remembrance is the highest virtue.
