Friday Sermon – Khalifatul Masih V – Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Year 2019

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah. He is alone and has no partner. and I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is His Servant and Messenger. After this I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The Gracious, the Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. Guide us in the right path – The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings,

Those who have not incurred displeasure, and those who have not gone astray. Allah has decreed: Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers. Verily, Allah is Powerful, Mighty. (Holy Qur’an- 58:22). When Allah the Exalted sends prophets, they do not begin to attain success immediately. Rather storms of opposition are given rise to by the opponents so much

So that it seems as if they are about to be destroyed very soon. The history of all the Prophets tells us that the opponents strain every nerve in this regard but they are eventually destroyed themselves by the decree of Allah the Exalted and the Prophets prevail.

This is what Allah the Exalted tells us in the verse that I just recited, namely that Allah the Exalted has decided that He and His Prophet shall eventually prevail and the enemies shall fail. The Holy Prophet (saw) and his companions also had to endure the worst kind of opposition.

Their enemies thought that they will very easily trample those few helpless and poor people under their feet and destroy them. However, what did actually happen? They themselves were crushed. In this age, when the ardent devotee of the Holy Prophet (saw) claimed to be the Messiah and Mahdi (as) –

And it was not a self-proclamation for Allah the Exalted had sent him in exact accordance with the prophecies of the Holy Prophet (saw) – then Allah the Exalted gave him many glad tidings. He informed him about the progress of the Community; about helping him with His succour;

About the fulfilment of the promise of the completion of the propagation of the Faith; about his victory and prevalence and about the failure of his opponents. Hence, (Arabic) this revelation was vouchsafed to him several times from 1883 to 1906 that Allah the Exalted reassured him that despite this opposition,

Despite all the schemes by the opponents, despite governments being against him and despite every effort by all religions and all sects of Muslims against him, Allah the Exalted shall grant him continued success and the community shall continue to progress. Hence, the Promised Messiah (as) has elucidated this matter

At several occasions and from different angles. At one such occasion, the Promised Messiah (as) stated in a sitting that, The word Kataba indicates towards the established practice of Allah the Exalted. It means that this is the manner of God that He definitely grants victory to His Prophets.

The difficulties that come on the way amount to nothing even if they are such that they are a manifestation of daaqat alaihimul ard. This means that, the earth becomes too strait for them and it seems that there is no escape

But the final command of Allah the Exalted works in favour of Allahs messengers. The Promised Messiah (as) further states about the truthfulness and the success of his claim in very powerful words that, God has decreed from the beginning and has declared it as His law and His way

That He and His Prophets will always triumph. Therefore, as I am His Messenger, that is, I am Commissioned by Him, however without a new law, or a new claim or a new name, rather, I have come in the name of that very noble Prophet, the Seal of all the Prophets,

And being merged in him and as his manifestation. This is why I say that just as it has been from ancient times, that is, from the era of Adam to that of the Holy Prophet (saw), the meaning of this verse has always come true. It will yet again, come true in my support.

The Promised Messiah (as) further states in his book, Noahs Ark, that will these people hinder the true desire of God through their aversion, to which every prophet has borne witness from the very beginning? No! As a matter of fact, this prophecy of God will soon be fulfilled that (Arabic: Al-Mujadalah: 22).

Then, in his book, Anjam-e-Atham, the Promised Messiah (as) states that, (Arabic). Those people, who become Gods, God becomes theirs. You should know that in the end, it is the friends of Allah the Exalted who become victorious over their opponents.

God the Exalted has decreed from the very outset that I and my Messengers will continue to prevail. The Promised Messiah (as) states that surely, Allah the Exalted does not forsake his appointed servants. On one occasion, the Promised Messiah (as) stated in a gathering

That you should remember that the servants of God never face an evil end. His promise of (Arabic) is absolutely true and it is only fulfilled when people oppose His Messengers. Furthermore, the Promised Messiah (as) states on another occasion

That this is the tradition of God the Exalted and since He has created man on the earth, He has always manifested this tradition of aiding His Prophets and Messengers and granting them victory just as He says, (Arabic). Furthermore, victory implies that as the Prophets and Messengers

Desire to establish the proof of God in the earth and that no one is able to object it, God the Exalted manifests their truthfulness through powerful signs. Furthermore, the He plants the seeds of the truthfulness which they desire to spread across the world through them.

This seed is sown through their hands and this is the very victory. This implies that the message of Allah the Exalted commences and that the winds of the succour of Allah the Exalted begin to blow; the winds of the help and succour of Allah the Exalted start to blow.

The Promised Messiah (as) has mentioned this in The Will and has also elaborated on this that He sows the seed through their hands by sending His Messengers. However, this is not completed by them. Rather, once the opponents have mocked them after their demise,

He reveals the hand of the second manifestation and continues to complete these objectives. The Promised Messiah (as) has stated that the second manifestation is Khilafat. Hence, we observe how after the Promised Messiah (as), Allah the Exalted continues to provide the means for the progress

And expansion of the Jamaat of the Promised Messiah (as) and how He Personally fills the hearts of people with the encouragement to join the Jamaat of the Promised Messiah (as). Today, the claim that was made in a small village is echoing in every corner of the world.

The Promised Messiah (as) further states that God the Exalted becomes the Protector of His servants. The enemies desire to destroy them. However, they progress by the day and continue to become victorious over their enemies just as He has promised, (Arabic).

That is, Allah has decreed: Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers. Thus, the history of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat bears testimony to what the Promised Messiah (as) has said that it is the promise of Allah the Exalted that His servants progress by the day,

That His sent Messengers advance by the day and that their Jamaats continue to march forward. We witness these scenes every day. At this moment, I will present before you some incidents in relation to this, as to how Allah the Exalted continues to confer this progress in an extraordinary manner;

How Allah the Exalted is engaged in the completion of the mission of the Promised Messiah (as). Our Muallim [religious teacher] from Cameroon, Abu Bakr Sahib, says that an individual from the city of Banyo, Ahmadu Sahib, phoned me and said that I was completely unaware of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat.

However, a few days ago, my son received a pamphlet with the title, The Messiah has Come. I am contacting you in relation to this very pamphlet. He said that I was very sluggish regarding prayers. One day, a person with a white beard appeared in a dream and said, Get up and pray!

He then guided me to pray regularly. Hence, following this dream, I am trying to be regular in prayers. One day, I was looking for a cable channel when I came across the MTA Africa channel and saw that this very white bearded individual is delivering a lecture.

In this manner, was able to receive some information about MTA and the Jamaat. However, I was unable to find out whether the Jamaat was present in Cameroon as well. I am now contacting you through the pamphlet. Hence, the Muallim Sahib preached to him

And introduced me to him that this is our Khalifa of the time. Upon this, he said that the person who is guiding me in my dream to pray with regularity cannot be a liar. He must certainly be from God the Exalted and he must have been appointed for this task.

He pointed towards Khilafat. The Muallim Sahib told him that our Jamaat is present in the city of Banyo and that he should contact a friend of his, Adamu Sahib, who is the President of the Jamaat there. Upon this, the aforementioned individual contacted the President of the Jamaat, pledged initiation and joined the Jamaat. Now, by the grace of God the Exalted, the aforementioned individual offers his prayers regularly, watches MTA and is also increasing his knowledge and faith. Areem sahib, one of our sisters from Tunis, states: I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of ten. Fifteen years later, I was diagnosed with kidney disease.

At the time, I had no clue about religion apart from the fact that I was a Muslim. She states: At that time I saw a person in my dream who leads me in prayer. After having this dream, I told myself that this is the way is correct.

So I began praying with extreme humility and sought the forgiveness of God. She continues: I would watch various religious channels. I would listen to lectures by Shiekh Hassan, a Salafi scholar, on the topic of the signs of the latter days.

She states: I would ask myself if all the things that he is mentioning will transpire? Will the Messiah physically descend [on the Earth]? If yes, then when will this happen? Once I saw in a dream that I was admitted in a hospital and time is passing by rapidly.

I tell the nurse: pay some attention to me as I do not have much time to go home and then return to the hospital. The nurse responds: Then you should just sleep in the hospital. I respond to her by stating: I do not wish to stay here.

Then I heard someone telling me: Do not worry. I will take you home. When I turned around, I see a person with a thick beard, and he is wearing a turban. I asked him: Who are you? He responded: I am Muhammad (saw).

Then I woke up from this dream, and it felt as if what I saw was not a dream; rather, it was a reality. It felt that I had lived in that moment. I shared this dream with my sister, and she said: Even in a dream, Satan cannot imitate the Holy Prophet (saw).

Anyways, that face was embedded in my heart. Four days later, when I was habitually watching television and after a programme had ended, I pressed a button which turned on Muslim Television Ahmadiyya Al-Arabia. She saw me on this programme, and a few seconds later she says: You read an excerpt

From the writings of the Promised Messiah (as) and his picture was shown on the MTA screen. When I saw his picture, I asked myself what is happening right now? This is the same person that I had seen in my dream. I continued to watch this channel until everything became apparent,

And after a month, I took the Oath of Allegiance. Shaban sahib, Mualim of the Community, has shared an incident about the perfection of guidance. He states: Jamaat was able to broadcast one of its programmes on various radio channels. After listening to this programme, a large number of people began calling us.

People informed them that they did not have any knowledge about the peaceful teachings of Islam, and they had considered Islam as a barbaric faith. However, now they came to know that not only does Islam lays great emphasis on human rights; rather, its teachings are founded upon the principals of peace.

Nineteen people entered the Jamaat through those Radio programmes. Ameer sahib Tanzania writes about an incident: The city of Landi is where the opponents treated Maulana Fazal Ilahi Bashir sahib in a very inappropriate manner, and he was driven out. Now weekly programmes of the Jamaat are broadcasted on two of its local radio programmes

And twenty-four hours broadcast of Radio Ahmadiyya is also heard here. The son of the Imam of the big Mosque of Landi city had the honour of accepting Ahmadiyyat because of these programmes. He has studied in various schools and recites the Holy Quran well and has an excellent connection with the Jamaat.

Apart from him, the Imam of another Mosque also accepted Ahmadiyyat. After the Baiat of these two influential personalities, fifty people entered the fold of the Jamaat. The current state of Landi is that the locals, whether they are Ahmadi or not, are ever ready to respond if anyone claims that Ahmadis are infidels.

A cleric from the big mosque [in Landi] states: Do not harass Ahmadis. Their knowledge is a lot greater than ours. Our eminent scholars are not aware of the things their ordinary scholars are aware of. There is an incident from Nigeria.

Mubarak Sahib, who is a Dai-ilallah from the Aumu Jamaat which is local in the Ajibu circuit. He started to show the live broadcast of my Friday Sermons. After the live broadcast, he would deliver a very short sermon of his own. One non-Ahmadi friend named Jamiyu sahib

Who would visit our mosque to attend Friday prayers objected that this is a Bidat (innovation in faith) and it is not an Islamic practice. We come here to attend Friday prayers. Now Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya has started to offer Friday prayers through the television. Such points were raised.

This person was informed: we are not offering Friday prayers in that manner; rather, we are only listening to [Huzoors (aba)] Friday Sermon. Perhaps you should at least listen to those sermons. After this, he began taking an interest in the Friday Sermons. A few ago, he visited [us] with his family and pledged allegiance.

He stated: The sermons of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) have shaken me to the core. In this day and age, if there is anyone who possesses the teachings of Islam, then it is Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba). The way that he is training and guiding Muslims through his sermons

Shows that he is aware of our conditions. Indeed, this guidance is from Allah Almighty, and I would like to spend my life abiding by the actual teachings of Islam by entering the Ahmadiyya Community with my wife and children. Akhtar sahib, from Sahaaranpur India, shares his incident of accepting Ahmadiyyat: In 2007, I saw a saintly person in my dream whose face was brimming with divine light. This left a significant impact on my heart. In 2009, when I visited Pakistan, I heard a discussion opposing the Ahmadiyya Community,

Which made me curious to learn more. After much research, I found a toll free number of the Jamaat, and I contacted the Jamaat. During this entire process, I saw another dream in which I met with Hazrat Khalifatul Masih the 5th (aba).

I saw that Huzoor (aba) was sitting on a throne and led a Baiaat ceremony, and there are a lot of people present there who participate in this ceremony. However, I am unable to reach him when I try to raise my hand for the pledge allegiance,

And I hear a voice from the back saying: You will not be able to reach him. My anxiety increases even further after seeing this dream. So I prayed consistently and stayed connected (with the Jamaat) through that toll-free number and continued to remove my doubts and concerns (about the Jamaat).

I saw another dream during those days that a caravan is traveling to Masjid-e-Aqsa and someone tells me you will not be able to reach them but I try anyway and reach the caravan and I witness the same scene of the Baiat ceremony as I saw in the first dream.

When I raise my hand to take the Baiat, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) holds my wrist and places my hand on his hand. After seeing this dream, I visited Qadian, which had a profound impact on me. However, I could not muster the courage to take the oath of allegiance due to some personal issues,

And after a while, I was not able to stay in touch. Time continued to pass, but these were the dreams I had. I would speak with a few Ahmadi friends of mine on different issues. This left with me some regret and anxiety.

At last, after a long break, this year when I was visiting Shimla on vacation, I stopped by a book fair in which there was a bookstall of the Ahmadiyya Community. So this communication was re-established through this Book Fair. This time around, after getting completely satisfied and considering the dreams (which I had)

I decided to take the Oath of Allegiance and entear the Ahmadiyya Community. Basit sahib is a missionary based in Ivory coast and he explains how Allah has made provisions for all kinds of people for the sake of their guidance. He narrates that the Jama’at hosts two programs weekly on the local radio

Through which the true message of Islam is taught to the people in the city of Abyaso, situated in the Basam Region. These programs are very popular amongst the public by the grace of Allah. The city is also home to a Jail in which the inmates also once heard the Jama’ats program

And enjoyed it very much. Hence, the inmates started listening to these programs on a regular basis in large groups. Eventually the Imam of the jail contacted the radio team and requested the contact details of the Imam of the Radio program.

Hence, he got a hold of the telephone number of the local Muaalim sahib by the name of Samaro, who informed us that a large number of the jail inmates were young Muslim men, although atheistic in their beliefs about God to quite an extent. They held very strange views about the concept of God,

But since they have started to listen to your radio station, these men have once again regained full faith in Allah; they are now returning towards the true Islam. They have also started to offer prayer 5 times a day on a regular basis.

Hence, this radio station has enabled 98 prisoners accept Ahmadiyyat this year, thus returning to the worship of Allah once again in their lifetime. Yahya Sahib who is the president of the national republic of central Africa explains how they received the message (of Ahmadiyyat) through MTA.

He narrates: We went to the town of Bwaar for the sake of preaching Islam and tried to contact the local Imam who did not want to listen to what we had to say and refused to meet us. Hence we retreated back to our accommodation.

This is where we ran into one of our tutors from the past who we were very well acquainted with. We preached to him and he accepted Ahmadiyyat. We informed him about our predicament in the sense that the local Imam was unwilling to even listen to us

And that we did not know anybody in this town, hence we were unable to preach the message of Islam. Upon hearing this, he gave us the address of the deputy mayor of the town and told us that he is a good person and a Muslim, he will certainly be of help to us.

During the meeting with our delegation, this gentleman opened up one of our leaflets and saw the printed pictures of Hadhrat Masih Maud (as) and myself (Huzoor) and asked us with great surprise if we were representing the community of the people in the leaflet?

He said that he has seen Me (Huzoor) on the TV and listens to my sermons every now and then. Yahya Sahib informed him that this man is the current Khalifa of the Jama’at, and this is how they introduced the system of Khilafat that is established within the Jama’at to him.

Upon hearing this he reacted by saying that this has increased the respect he had for the Jama’at and that he would certainly help us in preaching the message of Ahmadiyyat. This is how MTA had already created a positive image of the Jama’at in that area

And people were regularly listening to the sermons over there. Then they must demonstrate steadfastness and deal with opposition. The missionary of Mali regions town of Kachala writes, that a young man by the name of Adam Kunate sahib arrived at the mission house to pledge allegiance to Ahmadiyyat, as a result of which the members of his family turned against him

And tried their level best for him to abandon Ahmadiyyat. His father physically assaulted him many times and even kicked him out of the house, however, this did not result into the slightest of decrease in the resolve and determination this young man had for his belief. He would regularly participate in Jama’at programs

And would also financially contribute to chanda payments. He would start gathering fund before an annual Jalsa or Ijtema due to the fact that his financial position was not very strong. He continued to excel in his loyalty and sincerity towards the Jama’at,

And this is the passion that the new Ahmadis have when they join. He narrates that one night he came to the mission house in an extremely worried state and informed us that his father has once again kicked him out of the house.

He prayed to Allah that may Allah enable his father to become gentle with him. The very next day, his father realised his mistake and was deeply embarrassed. Not only did he bring him back home but also told him that he is free to remain a devout Ahmadi

With the assurance that he will not suffer any opposition from him. By the Grace of Allah, he is a very devout Ahmadi and contributes far more than he can financially afford and is also a regular attendee of Jama’at events. The missionary from the Maan region of Ivory Coast

Writes that an area by the name of Tuba consists mainly of people who are idolaters, they worship idols with a view that the idols become means through which they can reach God. A group of the Ahl-ul-Hadith arrived in that area to preach against idol worship

In a very aggressive fashion whilst making strong claims against idol worship. This made the locals feels highly insulted and both the locals and the Ahl ul Hadith could sense a tension of violence soon to erupt as a result.

The local, deputy governor who whilst being a Muslim was also a great friend of the Jama’at requested the Ahmadi Muaalim of the area to act as a mediator of peace between the two parties. Our Muaalim expertly conveyed the true message of Islam, which is simply based around the theme of peace and brotherhood.

He explained to the people that the Qur’an instructs us to always respect the sentiments of each religions followers to the point that you must not abuse the idols of those who worship them, as this could lead them to respond by abusing Allah the Almighty.

He also advised the Ahl ul Hadith to spread the message of Islam in a kind a respectful manner, as Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. Exactly the way the Jama’at is trying to do so throughout the world. He writes, Alhamdolillah, both parties have been coexisting without enmity since then.

Not only has the enmity come to an end, rather some of the idol worshipers decided to accept the message of Ahmadiyyat as soon as they heard about the true and loving message of Islam. They announced that they will now only worship the Almighty Allah.

Look at how Allah the Almighty makes provisions for the sake of spiritual guidance. Our Missionary based in South India by the name of Dhulfiqar Ali Sahib writes, A ship sailing from Bangladesh was about to sink, however they were saved by the Indian naval forces and were granted refuge by them also.

When the local Jama’at heard about this, they gathered some funds from within the Ahmadi households of that area and donated those funds at the local police station whilst also presenting them with the message of Ahmadiyyat. 12 people accepted Ahmadiyyat right away as a result of this

And they were also brought into contact with the Jama’at in Bangladesh. Then (there is another incident) with regards to how God Almighty guides people through different means and grants them certainty in His belief. A lady from Benin named Suzu Sahiba who is from the village of Jakutobe

Says that she prayed that if she finds a job, she will join the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. Before making this prayer, she had already applied for a job at 3 different places but due to a lack of experience, her application would be rejected every single time.

Whilst doing Tabligh, the Muallim Sahib explained to her that it is not appropriate to set conditions to do Baiat. Why do you bring your religion into this and intermingle it with your worldly affairs? You should first do Baiat and then pray. So, she agreed, filled out the Baiat form and joined the Jamaat

And sincerely remained closely associated with the Jamaat. She then prayed to get a job. She states that only a few days had passed, one of the companies she applied to who had already rejected her once before, contacted her

And said that despite your lack of experience, we have decided to give you a chance and so in this way, she got a job a short while after doing Baiat. Thus, there are some people including Ahmadis who write (to me)

That so and so relative or friend of ours has set such and such condition that if this happens or if I have children or if that happens then I will do Baiat. You should not set conditions to seek the blessings of God Almighty.

Accept what God Almighty says and then He will bless you as well. Amir Sahib from Congo Kinshasa writes that our Muallim Sahib went for a Tablighi tour to the village of Lurango. He met a man named Umar Sahib who was introduced to Ahmadiyyat. He was a Sunni Muslim.

He said that I used to strongly oppose Ahmadiyyat and used to live in Kikwit. When one of your Muallim Ibrahim Kulota was martyred, I was also among the people there to oppose Ahmadiyyat, that is, where the Muallim was martyred. But now I have recognised the truth about Ahmadiyyat through your Tabligh.

Subsequently, he sought an apology for his opposing attitude and said that I accept Ahmadiyyat. So, God Almighty also turns the hearts of opponents (towards Ahmadiyyat). Then another thing that people are compelled to accept is that if there is anyone who has pertinent arguments,

It is the followers of the Promised Messiah (as), that is, if one wishes to listen to them neutrally. There is a town situated about 120km from Kikwit called Idiofa. A sect of Christianity called Afisiya organised an inter-faith conference. The had invited Sunnis to this conference but they rejected the invitation.

As a matter of fact, they became enraged and said, how can we meet non-Muslims and be part of a program with them? It is not permissible to speak to non-Muslims. If one does not speak to non-Muslims, how can one do Tabligh? They do not do any Tabligh,

They only have (the concept of) Jihad and killing people with the sword. In any case, when they approached the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, our Muallim Abdullah Maanower Sahib welcomed him very politely and accepted his invitation to attend the conference. So, the conference went very well and more than 800 people participated.

A majority of them were Christians and they were all wonderstruck at what kind of Muslims these people are who sit with us, speak with us and eat with us. And they accepted that in actual fact, you are (true) Muslims because your teaching and your actions coincide with one another,

Your words and actions are one and the same thing. The impact that this conference had was that when after some time, the Muallim Sahib went to those areas again to do Tabligh, there were 3 people who accepted Ahmadiyyat straight away

And said that yes, we have heard what you say, you are absolutely truthful and so therefore, from this day forth, we join Ahmadiyyat. Amir Sahib from Kango Kinshasa writes that despite the false propaganda from Maulwis (clerics), when non-Ahmadi Muslims witness the behaviour of the Ahmadiyya community

And listen to their teachings, it has a (positive) effect on them and then they pledge their allegiance and join the Jamaat. So, he says that our Muallim Kangolu Sahib went on a Tablighi tour to a village called Kahela which is about 220km from Kikwit in February 2019.

When the Muallim did Tabligh, a person named Abdul said, Ahmadis commit Shirk (associate partners with Allah). He raised this allegation and said, what Tabligh have you come here to do, Ahmadis are polytheists as they commit Shirk. He then said that, they have a separate prophet, their ways of worship are different,

Their Holy Quran is different; so basically, everything that Maulvis (clerics) had taught them, the poison that they had injected into their hearts was what was pouring out of his mouth. He said that we do not accept Ahmadiyyat because of the aforementioned reasons, nor will we listen to you.

Upon this the Muallim explained everything to him, he offered Salat before him (to show how we pray). When he saw Muallim Sahib offering Salat, he said that in actual fact, we were wrong. He was kind-hearted and of a pure nature, his heart was pure and so he accepted

That the things that Maulvis tell us is wrong and he accepted that Maulvis have given us completely false information. When he saw the practice of the Muallim, he said that we accept Ahmadiyyat for the sole reason that Maulvis have lied to us and in this way,

More than 50 people in that village accepted Ahmadiyyat and then the Muallim explained the entire system of the Jamaat to them. He explained the teachings of the Promised Messiah (as) to them and he explained the system of Chanda to them as well.

Upon this the new converts gathered some money and presented it towards Chanda to be a part of it straight away. Amir Sahib from Mali writes that Ahmadiyyat has been established in a village in the Mali region of Koulikoro. Before this, the people of the village did not affiliate themselves with any religion.

They did not follow any religion but by the grace and blessings of God Almighty, after doing Tabligh, they accepted Ahmadiyyat. There was no mosque in the village however, the Jamaat is now constructing a Mosque there. Upon the occasion of laying the foundation stone for the Mosque, the chief of the village told us

That we have been waiting for the community of the Imam Mahdi to come here for a very long time. He further went on to say that it is his good-fortune that God Almighty has enabled him to accept Ahmadiyyat during his lifetime

Because their parents had also awaited for the arrival of the Imam Mahdi (as) and were waiting to accept him however, this message did not reach them during their lifetime. The chief was a Muslim and so therefore, he was well aware of this. Our missionary from Cameroon writes about how God Almighty

Continues to complete the propagation of this message (in different places). He states that in the western region of Cameroon, in the city of Foumban, the first mosque of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat was constructed. In the whole area, this city is considered to be the main central place

Where the majority of the population is Muslim. The Bamoun tribe resides throughout the entire division. They call their chief Sultan and the Sultan is looked upon with great respect in the Bamoun government. In political terms, he is very influential in the Bamoun government. Ahmadiyyat was established in this area in 2011

And now by the grace and blessings of God Almighty, 35 rural Jamaats have been established in this division. By the grace and blessings of God Almighty, the Imam here is a resolute Ahmadi and is also a Daee Ilallah (one who calls/invites people to religion). The mosque was inaugurated this year

And there is space for 180 worshippers to offer their prayers. The Sultan also sent one of his representatives on this occasion. The news of the inauguration of this mosque was broadcasted on the radio and on television. After this, the Jamaat received a lot of publicity.

In this city, MTA Africa is broadcasted on cable TV and there are weekly programs of the Jamaat that are broadcasted on 2 radio stations. So, in this way, God Almighty is propagating the message of the Promised Messiah (as) throughout the world. The missionary in Ivory Coast writes regarding how

God Almighty caused some of the opponents of Ahmadiyyat to suffer a miserable end. In the town of Danane, a vast amount of land was bought for a mosque and mission house. The Jama’at had decided to construct a mosque there.

A group of people who had unlawfully occupied the land went to the governor of the area and said that the land on which the Ahmadiyya Community wished to build a mosque belonged to them. People unlawfully occupy land in the developing world and it is not confined to Pakistan alone.

The group told the governor that the land belonged to their forefathers and therefore they would not allow for a mosque to be built there. The governor listened to the statements of both parties and checked the documents. He then decided that the those who had unlawfully occupied the land

Ought to vacate the land at once and that there should not be any hindrance in the construction of the Ahmadiyya mosque, i.e. he gave the verdict in our favour. During the foundation stone laying of the mosque, the governor himself attending the ceremony.

In the opposing group, there was a woman who was known for casting spells and enchantments. She went to see a more renowned magician – Africans are also fascinated by casting spells and enchantments – and she asked the renowned magician to cast a spell on the Missionary, local teacher

And some members of the Jama’at for them to perish. She began to say amongst the local people that the Ahmadiyya Jamaat would soon leave the land themselves and she was convinced that this would transpire. It so happened that the lady herself developed a severe infectious disease and within days she withered completely.

Her illness worsened to such that the people began to fear going to see her and she was left completely alone. Even in such a time it was the Jama’at who showed her compassion and the local Mualim, Sanogo Sahib, went to visit her.

The local people told Sanogo sahib not to go as he could also suffer from the same illness. Sanogo Sahib replied: This is not right, we are Muslims and will follow the example set by the Holy Prophet (saw).

He went to her house to see her, however she passed away within a short period of time. Hence, this became a sign for the people who thought that owing to the magic, the Ahmadis would perish. They openly began to say that this was a sign for the truthfulness of Ahmadiyyat. The missionary in the Northern region of Ghana writes: The Ahl-e-Sunnah are very influential in the area called Niswana. In this area the Sunnis were extremely opposed to the Jama’at. In February 2019, they called over a scholar from Egypt so that they could construct mosques wherever the Jama’at was established. Similarly, because the Jama’at install water pumps, the Ahl-e-Sunnah also began to install water pumps

So that the people would abandon Ahmadiyyat and join them. They also appointed an Imam, who they gave 300 Cedis (which is the currency of Ghana). The Egyptian scholar hired a translator for 700 Cedis and they began to visit different parts of the area.

He then writes: In the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, the translator stole money from the Egyptian scholar. The Egyptian scholar brought money with him and had appointed an Imam who would be given an allowance. The translator was paid even more than the Imam. Nonetheless, it was a substantial amount of money

And also some governments that oppose the Ahmadiyya Community must also have assisted in this regard. The translator stole the money and left. The Egyptian scholar tried to reason with the translator and asked to return the money he had stolen. However, he refused to return the money and as a result,

The Egyptian scholar severed all ties with him and moved out from his house. The translator became angry and attacked the Egyptian scholar with a knife. Consequently, the Egyptian scholar left the country and went back home. In this way, God Almighty frustrated their schemes that they devised against us,

Which were to remove Ahmadiyyat from the area, but instead, they themselves were removed from the area. The missionary of the Bomi County of Liberia writes about how the opponents of Ahmadiyyat are being frustrated in their plans. He writes: We went to Bafeeni, which is small village in order to perform Tabligh.

Although it is a village, it is slightly bigger than the surrounding villages and is considered a central village for the local area. Having propagated the message in the village, the people were invited to attend the Annual Convention of Liberia, which was taking place in March 2019. Thus, a delegation consisting of five people,

Including the Imam and Paramount Chief attended the Annual Convention. Upon seeing the atmosphere of the Jalsa, they stated that they wished to perform Baiat (pledge of allegiance). A local teacher was assigned for their area, who upon his arrival, began a class to teach about the Holy Qur’an.

He also taught the children how to read the Salat (Muslim formal prayer). When the opponents of Ahmadiyyat came to learn that Ahmadiyyat had begun to spread in this area, they formed a delegation which comprised of the Non-Ahmadi Chief Imam of the Bomi County and they decided to visit the village.

They met with the Paramount Chief and tried to convince him that Ahmadis are not good Muslims. The Paramount Chief politely asked them repeatedly to tell them one thing that proved that Ahmadi Muslims were not good Muslims. Upon this the Maulvi said: They do not believe in the Holy Qur’an

And are only deceiving you that they believe in the Holy Quran. This incensed the Chief and he said to them: For the past 20 years, not a single one of you visited our village and taught us the Holy Qur’an. Now that the Ahmadis have come to teach us the Holy Qur’an

You have come to try and prevent them from doing this. The Ahmadis are not trying to deceive us, in fact, it is you who are trying to deceive us. Therefore, you should leave at once and never set foot in this village again. The Chief then said: Today we stand with the Ahmadiyya Community

And will stand by them in the future as well. Thus, the opponents returned having failed to implement their plan. The people of this village are exhibiting even more sincerity and loyalty than before and are regular in paying the Chanda. A missionary from the Kamrup Metropolitan District of Assam, India writes

The Jamaat organised a bookstall at this years Guwahati Book Fair and faced intense opposition from the Jamiat-e-Ulema Assam. Their leader, Maulvi Fazl-ul-Haq Qasmi also submitted a report to the Book Fair Committee and other governmental officials in which he stated that the Qadianis are Kafir [disbelievers]

And are misleading the public with their erroneous translation of the Holy Qur’an, therefore their bookstall should closed down at once. When the Book Fair Committee refused to close down the Jamaats bookstall, the opponents invited the press and published reports in various newspaper

And new channel outlets and announced that Qadianis are Kafirs and the Ulema of Pakistan and various other prominent Ulema from around the world have issued Fatwas [edicts], declaring them to be Kafir. However, by the grace of Allah the Almighty, their opposition resulted in directing

All the attention of the newspaper and news channel outlets towards the Jamaats bookstall and throughout the entire duration of the book fair, a total of 19 newspaper and new channels published reports about the Jamaats bookstall. Some of the news channels aired reports of the bookstall multiple times.

Thus, by the grace of Allah the Almighty, the message of the Jamaat was conveyed to the entire state of Assam. Moreover, a month after the book fair, a newspaper of Assam wrote in one of its headlines that Maulvi Muhammad Fazl-ul-Haq Qasmi is one of the biggest causes of disorder and unrest in Assam.

4 months later, the Maulvis political party performed extremely poorly in the elections and now the Jamaat Ahmadiyya is able to openly preach its message. Thus, God Almighty turned their evil ploys against them. The Muallim from Tanzania, Mahmood Ramadhan Sahib, writes: Whilst doing Tabligh in one of the villages in the Geita Region,

We faced a lot of hostility from the Sunni Maulvis. They tried their utmost efforts to somehow stop the Ahmadis from entering the village. When all their plans failed, they began to spread rumours against the Jamaat amongst a few of the young Ahmadi members who had recently converted to Ahmadiyyat,

However they remained resolute in their belief and the rumours of the Maulvis had no effect on them. Moreover, the Maulvis offered all kinds of incentives to a government official of the area, in order to turn them against the Jamaat and to stop the Jamaat from growing.

However, he also did not come under their influence and ruined their hopes. He said to them that he had seen on the national television, ITV, that the Prime Minister was invited as chief guest to Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Community,

Therefore how could an official of a small village stop them while such prominent officials, including the Prime Minister attended their function? Therefore, he declined to help them. The Promised Messiah (as) states, God Almighty stands in support of His servants. The enemy seeks to completely obliterate them

But they continue to progress day by day and prevail over its enemy, just as God Almighty states: Allah has decreed: Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers. At first, when man forges a bond with God Almighty, he is considered weak and lowly in the eyes of the world, but as his bond with the Almighty grows, so too does his recognition,

Whereby ultimately he becomes a man of great nobility. God Almighty is the Most Supreme and just as man draws closer to Him, he too grows in status, to the point that he ultimately becomes the Khalifa [representative] of God Almighty. The Promised Messiah (as) states,

Do not consider this Taubah [repentance] an ordinary matter and simply abandon it here, rather consider it to be something which God Almighty has entrusted you with. One who seeks repentance, boards the Ark of God, (Anyone who repents can become the Khalifa [representative] of God).

Which has been built upon His command at the time of His storm. The Promised Messiah (as) states further: He, i.e. God Almighty, has commanded me: God Almighty further commands, (Arabic). Just as a king sends his representative to his subjects and their obedience to him is akin to showing obedience to the king, similarly God Almighty sends His representatives to the world.

In this present era, Taubah is like a seed, the fruits of which will not be limited to you alone, but will be granted to your progenies as well. The abode of one who truly repents, is filled with the mercy of God Almighty. The Promised Messiah (as) states:

I say with utmost conviction having received knowledge from God, that if all the Maulvis, spiritual leaders and recipients of divine revelations were to unite against me in matters of divine revelation, God Almighty shall cause me to prevail over all of them, for I am from God.

It is absolute certainty that I will succeed in regards to the verse: (Arabic). The Promised Messiah (as) further states: It has been approximately 20 years since I received the following Quranic verse in the form of a revelation: (Arabic) He it is Who has sent His Messenger, with guidance and the Religion of truth,

That He may make it prevail over all other religions. The meaning of this as taught to me were that I have been sent from God Almighty so that God Almighty shall cause Islam to prevail over all faiths through me. It should remembered that this is an extraordinary prophecy of the Holy Quran

And all of the Ulema and research scholars have unanimously agreed that this prophecy shall be fulfilled through the Promised Messiah (as). Thus, none of the Auliya [saints] and Abdal [devotees of God] who have come before me have ever proclaimed that they are the recipients of the prophecy

And nor has any of them ever claimed to have received the aforementioned verse as a revelation. However, at the time of my advent, I received this revelation and was informed that this verse applies to me and it is through me and in my era that Islam will prevail over all other faiths.

Thus, there is no doubt that Islam will prevail through the Promised Messiah (as) and it is God Almighty Himself, Who shall grant this victory. From the few accounts that I have narrated shows how God Almighty is guiding people though different means and enabling them to join the Jamaat of the Promised Messiah (as).

However, if we, who have been Ahmadis for a long time, wish to partake of the blessings attached with this Jamaat then we too must fulfil our role in conveying this message. Similarly, those who have newly joined the Jamaat should covey this message to others,

Which has become a means of their reformation and has guided them to the truth and they should come forward into the field of Tabligh even more than before in order to acquire the blessings of Allah the Almighty. May God Almighty grant everyone the opportunity to do so

And may we become the helpers of the Promised Messiah (as) sent by God Almighty and become the recipient of God Almightys grace. Please join me in silent prayer. Ameen.
