Friday Sermon – Khalifatul Masih V – Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Year 2017
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is the Messenger of Allah. Come to Prayer Come to Prayer Come to success Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
There is none worthy of worship except Allah. Peace be upon you. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah He is alone and has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is His Servant and Messenger After this I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed.
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. All praise belongs to the Almighty Allah who lords over all the universe. The Gracious, the ever Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. Guide us in the right path
The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray. Last Friday, while speaking in regards to the Promised Messiah (as) I mentioned that he stated: “If a person prays fervently to Allah Almighty for forty days in his prayers
“and remains unbiased and is free from any kind of stubbornness, “then God Almighty will disclose the truth for him within this period.” Nevertheless, it is absolutely essential for such a person to have a pure heart. A heart that is free from every type of prejudice. Otherwise, the Promised Messiah (as) also said:
“The people whose hearts retain rancor, anger and are void of pure thoughts, they will always say, ‘God Almighty did not guide us through dreams’ or ‘Or God informed us to oppose you’.” In any case, God Almighty guides those who pray with a pure heart.
During the time of the Promised Messiah (as), God guided many people through dreams in his life. Once it was mentioned during a gathering that someone from Lahore wrote a letter. In the letter, this person wrote he was told about the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as).
This person was a devout follower of a saint who resided near the burial place of Data Ganj Bakhsh. So this man mentioned everything to the saint. The saint responded by saying, ‘Mirza sahib’s continuous progress proves his truthfulness.’ Another saint who was there said ‘Let me inquire about this matter as well [from God].’
And so, the next day he said, ‘God has informed me that Mirza is a Maula (master).’ Upon hearing this the other saint said ‘God must have said ‘Maulana’. ‘This means that he [Mirza] is your Maula and my Maula and everyone’s Maula.’
When the Promised Messiah (as) heard this, he said ‘Nowadays, people see many dreams and visions. ‘It seems as if God Almighty desires to inform people of the truth through dreams. ‘In order to convince the hearts to believe, God’s angels are everywhere just like we see ‘the locusts everywhere in the skies.’
Then the Promised Messiah (as) narrated the account of a man who had intended to write a book against the Promised Messiah (as). This person saw the Holy Prophet (saw) in his dream, who said to him ‘You are writing against Mirza sahib but in reality Mirza sahib is truthful.’
God Almighty prevents the righteous-natured people from taking wrong actions by guiding them. He was an opponent who wanted to write something against the Promised Messiah (as) but perhaps God Almighty appreciated one of his good deeds so He stopped him from doing such a thing.
Such means of guidance present from the time of the Promised Messiah (as) continues to this day. God Almighty guides the pious-natured people and when they bow in front of Him seeking help. He guides them in ways that are unknown to them.
God guides them by informing them about the advent of the Promised Messiah (as). Sometimes people know about the Promised Messiah (as) and they seek guidance from Allah Almighty. So Allah Almighty grants them guidance. A person from Mali, which is a country in West Africa, received guidance from Allah the Exalted
Regarding the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as) in this manner. The missionary there writes that Mustafa Diallo Sahib saw a dream one day that he was in an extremely beautiful house in paradise. Water was flowing to one side of the house. There was a picture of a saint of white complexion in it
And was wearing a turban. He says that a short while after seeing the dream, he visited one of his friends, and he saw the picture of this very saint in his house. He asked his friend about the saint in the picture, upon which he was told that this is the Imam Mahdi.
Hence, Diallo Sahib mentioned his dream and enquired for more information about Ahmadiyyat. Upon this, the Ahmadi friend said that today our monthly general meeting will be taking place. “Come with me and there you can ask our missionary all kinds of questions.”
He joined the meeting and made an announcement of becoming an Ahmadi following the meeting. However, he also said that “I wish for all of my siblings to accept this truth as well. “Therefore, I will return home and inform my siblings of this and will, “Insha’Allah, pledge initiation together with all of them tomorrow.”
Hence, when all of the siblings gathered the following day at the time for breakfast, he related his dream with regards to Ahmadiyyat and encouraged the others to do Bai’at. All of his siblings scolded him and said “You are in no need to accept this new religion.”
Upon this, he replied that he was most certainly going to do the Bai’at [pledge initiation]. He says that following the Fajr prayer he lay down and fell asleep for a while. He saw the Promised Messiah (as) in a dream advising him to recite Surah Al-Hijr verses 30-33.
After he woke up, he informed his siblings of the dream and went to the mission house and enquired for the interpretation of the dream. The missionary searched for the relevant verses of the Holy Qur’an and showed them verses where
The prostration of the angels and disobedience of Iblis following the creation of Adam is mentioned. He was told this is a guidance from Allah with regards to whatever transpired this morning; in that for you to pledge initiation is in fact acting in similitude to the angels.
Diallo Sahib formally pledged initiation there and then and entered the Jama’at. By the Grace of Allah, he is a very active member. Similarly, a new convert, named Kone Adama, from the city of Gralao in Ivory Coast relates the account of his acceptance of Ahmadiyyat as a result of seeing a dream.
He says that “I saw in a dream that I have gone to the mosque in order to offer prayers. “There I see that the mosque is filled with worshippers. “I spread my prayer mat on the side to offer prayers when a person suddenly approaches me,
“asks me what sect of Muslims I belong to and then takes away my prayer mat. “I tell him that I am an Ahmadi Muslim. “Upon this, he tells me to go to the Ahmadiyya mosque in order to offer the prayers.”
After his dream he says that “I was satisfied and entered the Jama’at by doing Bai’at.” Similarly, there is a lady from Yemen, Jamila Sahiba. With regards to her account of accepting Ahmadiyyat she says: “A long time before I was introduced to the Ahmadiyya Jama’at,
“I was in Saudi Arabia, where I became inclined towards Sufism and “I was greatly impressed by the writings of Hazrat ‘Abd-ul-Qadir Jelani. “By acting in accordance with his prescribed way of solitude and isolation, “I would feel some comfort and experience spirituality.’
This method of how she acted, worshipped or remembered God was that she says, “After reciting Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat-ul-Kursi and Surah Al-Ikhlas a hundred times each, “I would recite the Durood Shareef and Istighfar a thousand times each.” This was the method of the Sufis.
Hence, she says that “During these days of solitude, I saw in a dream that a very large star “in likeness to the moon descended upon the earth and was walking on the earth. “Following this, it entered our house through the roof. “I was afraid and astonished and in the meanwhile I woke up.
“A few days later, I saw five more stars in a dream, walking on the earth in a single file. “However, they are smaller in size in comparison to the star I saw earlier.” The interpretation was perhaps not clear to Jamila Sahiba, however
The first star is most probably the Promised Messiah (as) and the others are the five caliphs. Nevertheless, she says: “I was introduced to the Jama’at through MTA, which increased my thirst of to acquire knowledge. “As I watched MTA, the love for Hazrat Imam Mahdi (as) was formed within my heart and
“increased and I was absolutely certain that the Promised Messiah (as) was the Imam of the time. “In the meanwhile, I heard in the programme “Al-Hiwar-ul-Mubashir” that “those in search of the truthfulness of Hazrat Imam Mahdi (as) should offer the Istikhara prayer “and beseech God the Exalted for guidance.
She says that according to the prescribed way, she offered two rak’at [units of prayer] and slept. She says that the same night, “I saw in a dream that I am in a large crowd of people in Mecca. “People are standing while tiptoeing and extending their necks and trying to see a person.
“In the meantime, a person loudly exclaims that ‘O people! Your Imam has come! O people! The Imam Mahdi has come!’ “I also begin to look into that direction, “when Hazrat Imam Mahdi (as) appears in front of everyone on an elevated place.
“His face was glowing in the likeness of a bright moon and his eyes were filled with sorrow. “When I carefully looked at his face, [I saw that] “it was the face of the same Imam Mahdi and Promised Messiah, which I had seen on MTA.
“As soon as I saw this, tears began to flow from my eyes and I started to cry very fervently. “At the time I was seeing this dream, my husband was awake.” She was sleeping and was experiencing this dream. However, her husband was awake at that time and nearby.
“He woke me up and said that you were crying very fervently. “When I woke up, my eyes were filled with tears.” Following the dream, “I was certain this is the truth and this person is the Imam of the time. “Hence, I decided to pledge initiation to this Imam.” She is from Yemen.
Everyone is aware that the circumstances in Yemen are very dire these days. Their neighbouring country, Saudi Arabia, has closed all routes to Yemen via sea and via air. They are causing all kinds kinds of hindrances with regards to sending them aid. Innocent children, women and elderly people are dying as a result of
Not having any food or facilities for medical treatment. Muslims are killing other Muslims. The reason is that they have not accepted the Imam of the time. Pray for them as well that Allah the Exalted may change their circumstances and so that they may breathe a breath of freedom and comfort.
May Allah the Exalted have Mercy on them. Some pure-natured people believe Ahmadiyyat to be true in their hearts, yet, they do not do Bai’at due to various reasons. With regards to how Allah the Exalted draws their attention towards doing Bai’at and
Formally joining the Jama’at, our Mu’allim [religious teacher] from the Mali region of Kayes writes that a close friend of our friend, ‘Abdul Hay Jabi Sahib, suddenly passed away in the last ten days of the month of Ramadhan.
One day, he saw in a dream that he was travelling by bus with this very deceased friend of his. His friend said to him, “The Jama’at you are about to enter is a true Jama’at and “I am also entering this Jama’at.”
Abdul Hay Jabi Sahib regularly listened to our radio channel and was an Ahmadi at heart but had not yet taken the Bait. After seeing this dream he called in saying “I live at a distance from the city of Kayes “and I listen to your radio channel and your preaching.
“I have seen such a dream, so accept my oath of allegiance and from today I am an Ahmadi.” A friend from Egypt, Mahmood Ghareeb Sahib states: “Since the age of nine, I have been hearing a powerful voice in my dream “which continues to ring in my ears.
“I could not comprehend it but I would be afraid every time I heard it. “Then in 2010, when I became aware of MTA “and I heard some sayings of the Promised Messiah (as) in the voices of Muhammad Shareef Odeh and Asad Musa Odeh,
“I immediately realised that this was the same voice I heard in my dreams since the age of nine. “Hence, I began watching MTA with greater interest. “The words and poems of the Promised Messiah (as) deeply affected me. “Whenever I tried to picture the blessed countenance of the Holy Prophet (saw),
“the picture of the Promised Messiah (as) would always come forward. “One day I was watching MTA and the picture of the Promised Messiah (as) came up. “Addressing him I said ‘I ask you by God, are you truthful in your claims or not?’” After this he went to work.
When he returned in the evening he turned on the TV straight away and tuned in to MTA. The extract of the Promised Messiah (as) was being read out: [Arabic] “That is to say O my people! I have been sent by God Almighty. “I have been sent by God Almighty.
“I have been sent by God Almighty and I call my Lord to witness that I am from God Almighty.” “When I heard this I fell to my knees and uncontrollably started saying “peace be upon you, whilst kissing the image of the Promised Messiah (as) on the TV.
“This is how in one moment Ahmadiyyat became my everything.’ He then took the Bai’at. Describing how he entered into the community, Jameel Zaran Sahib, a friend from Jordan says: “In 1992 when the Muslim countries were facing several problems and difficulties,
“I would think to myself night and day what is all this that is happening to the Best of Nations? “What is more is that despite being the Khair-e-Ummat the Muslims had fallen prey to “dissention and decline and were fighting amongst themselves.
“A voice came from within that our religion is not what is now being witnessed, “there must surely be a reason for which the Muslim nation has become so neglectful. “One night I saw in a dream that I am standing alone on a road which is straight and firm.
“All of a sudden a modern Mercedes car comes, in which the person sat on the seat next to the “driver’s instructs me to drive the car. “I sit in the driver’s seat. “In my heart I felt I was sat with the Imam Mahdi (as). “I started to feel alarmed.
“As the car was running, all of a sudden people with dark faces appeared on the road and “were lined up on both sides of the road. “They had some ordinary weapons. “They then started firing at us but no bullet hit us and we reached our destination safely.
“In this vision I park the car. The Imam Mahdi (as) tells me to disembark and open the boot. “I get out of the car and open the boot. “In it there is a lovely wooden box in which there is a very beautiful five-year old boy “who looks at me.
“When I woke up I was very pleased with this dream and thought to myself that “this is definitely a message from God. “My interpretation of it was that the new car represents a new journey of life. “The dark-faced people firing at us represented the words and actions in opposition to this
“new journey which will have no effect. “Secrets are kept in the lovely box and “the five-year old represents some glad tidings which will come to fulfilment within five years. “Astonishingly, when I interpreted the dream in this way, it was thus fulfilled.
“My new life journey commenced when I came to know of the Ahmadiyya Community “and I was enabled to enter into the Jamaat in the blessed era of the fifth Khalifa. “I was the only Ahmadi in my village and as soon as I announced the advent of the Imam Mahdi, “everyone turned against me.
“Edicts of Kufr (disbelief) were made against me in the mosques. “Then I prayed to God that I be granted a partner for the completion of this journey, “so God Almighty granted me such pious and good people whom I didn’t even know previously “and they proved to be my real friends and close-relatives.”
Then a friend from Syria, Muhammad Abdullah Sahib, who is in Canada nowadays states: “I worked as a salesman and I was acquainted with the son of one of my customers. “This young man was an Ahmadi. “My relationship with him increased so he informed me of the fundamental teachings of the Community
“and its reformative understandings. “He gave me the Arabic translation of the Philosophy of the teachings of Islam “and I was very much impressed having read it. “I really liked the logical points in it. “For approximately a year I read different books of the Community and also started watching MTA.
“After one year of studying, watching MTA and deliberating the teachings of the Community “a desire was born in my heart to join this Community. “Yet knowing the state of my inner purity, I didn’t deem myself worthy of joining this pristine “Community and was also unaware of the paths to reach that stage.
“Therefore, I asked that Ahmadi friend to allow me to meet other Ahmadis. “He then organised for me to meet a few Ahmadis in his own house. “They came and having sat with them and having spoken about the means to spiritual enhancement “I felt as if my spiritual thirst was being quenched.
“Since I had firm faith, through a true vision that God Almighty would not let me go to waste “and would most certainly guide me, therefore, keeping this in mind I began to do istikhara. “I was in Damascus for my work while my wife was living in Halab with other family members.
“After doing istikhara I phoned my wife and asked her to relate to me any dreams she has. “A few days later, one night proved to be like Laylatul Qadr (Night of Decree) for me “in which I had an extremely splendid dream. “I saw a pious relative of mine in my dream
“who handed me a paper saying it was from the Holy Prophet (saw). “I enthusiastically opened it very quickly and written inside it was: ‘peace and blessings of Allah be upon you’. “I woke up very happy and the Quranic verse: [Arabic] “That is, ‘Enter therein with peace, in safety’ was flowing from my tongue.
“It was a clear message to enter into the Community. “Also, this vision was pointing towards conveying the Salaam of the Holy Prophet (saw) “to the Imam Mahdi and Promised Messiah. “But at that time I did not know this. “In any case I was sure that this was the answer to my istikhara
“so then I took the oath of allegiance.” Whilst relating how she took the oath of allegiance, a woman from Syria says: “Before knowing about Ahmadiyyat, my sister and I joined another sect believing it to be truthful.
“Later we came to realise that this sect had made its own laws in the name of Sharia. “Afterwards I prayed to God fervently and pleaded to Him to show me where His true religion was “and which community today has His support.
“After making this prayer for few days, one day I felt as if a wonderful light entered my body. “Seeing this situation I became more fervent in my prayers and “as a result of crying so much my voice would get held up in my throat.
“In such a state I saw someone has stood up beside me and “in such a state I felt as if he has come to sympathise with me. “Seeing him I said to myself who is this person? But I did not receive any reply.
“The next day I cried a great deal up till the point that I began to hiccup. “Again, I went into the same state and saw the same person beside me. “The same thing happened a third time so I pleaded out loud to God Almighty that
“O God tell me who this sympathetic man is and why he is being shown to me over and over again. “I received the answer to this sometime after. “It thus happened that I was sat with my sister and aunt when we started discussing this topic “that the Promised Messiah as must have come.
“We said that in this era there will be some kind of announcement on TV that the Messiah has come “and people will rush to believe in him. “However, our Maulwis (clerics) have declared the TV unlawful. “Then how will we know when we cannot watch TV? “After long discussions,we went against the edicts of our Maulwis, bought a TV and started watching. “After this I saw a strange vision which completely changed me. “I saw that I was in a big field and saw some people coming in a car,
“the roof of which had a satellite dish on top. “Their car stopped having reached the middle of the field and “some of them were taking out their belongings to put on the ground. “One of them was wearing traditional Arab clothing and his face was bright.
“Having been in the middle of the field, he all of a sudden stands next to me and “says ‘what are you doing here sister’? “Instead of answering him I asked him ‘What are you doing here’? He says that ‘We are launching a new TV channel’.
‘Will you watch it?’ I replied ‘Why not, I will watch it of course.’ “After this conversation I woke up. “The very next day I brought a TV and after a short while I set everything up. “After watching the channels one by one I felt that one channel which was different,
“in fact it felt as if it was of another era. “This was the reason why I watched it and left all the other channels. “This channel was MTA and at that moment the programme Al Hiwar was on.
“While I was watching this programme I kept looking at the host of the programme thinking that “I have seen him somewhere before. “All of a sudden I remembered that this is that very man who I saw in the field setting up the
“satellite channel and I had promised him in the dream to watch the channel. “Having recalled my promise I began watching that channel and became fond of it. “One day, as was my routine I was watching their programme and paid full attention when the words
“of the Imam Mahdi and the Promised Messiah (as) were being read out. “Then a picture was displayed on the screen and beneath the words “Imam Mahdi and Promised Messiah (as) were written. “I became more curious and then extracts of the words of the Imam Mahdi were presented.
“The first sentence of the very first extract proved sufficient to transform me entirely: [Arabic] “That is to say ‘by God I have been sent by Allah. ‘I have not spoken a lie and the one who forges a lie shall go to waste and be a loser.’
“Hearing this I uncontrollably said that these are the words of a truthful person. “This man must surely be truthful in his claim and he is the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi. “During the recitation of the extract, when the picture of the Promised Messiah as was shown again
“I was completely staggered, because he was the same person I had witnessed in my vision. “When I cried and pleaded to God where is Your true religion and who has Your support, “this man was the one who came to comfort me and I said to myself who is this stranger.
“Now that I had seen this man on TV I came to understand my vision and its interpretation. “At that time God Almighty told me that this is the man whose community has my support “and this community alone is the representative of God Almighty’s true religion.
“I was crying when I addressed this picture saying that today you are the only one defending Islam, “you are answering the hindrances of Christianity and you alone are the true Imam Mahdi. “I testify to your truthfulness and pledge my allegiance to you.
“At the time I didn’t know that it was necessary to take Bai’at of the Promised Messiah (as). “I informed my close relatives and friends about this channel and the Community “but the majority of them did not take what I told them seriously.
“Despite that, my sister and aunt continued watching MTA for a number of days and after doing “so decided to pledge their allegiance.” “Afterwards my mother, brother and two other sisters also took the oath of allegiance.’” Her name was Ghanal Eejan Sahiba. A friend from Egypt, Saeed Rukha Sahib says:
“Some time before knowing of the Ahmadiyya Community I saw myself in a vision in a vast field “where an extremely beautiful marquee has been raised. “Outside it are many people appointed to protect it. “One of these guards asked me what I was doing here.
‘I replied that I do not know why but tell me who is in this marquee? “The guard said that the Holy Prophet (saw) is inside. “Hearing this I became extremely happy “but at the same time was overwhelmed with fear as I was not sure as to how I reached this wonderful
“place where the Holy Prophet (saw) is present. “In that moment I hear the extremely beautiful and attractive voice of the Holy Prophet (saw). “He said that ‘You have come to honour and pay tribute to me but why have you forgotten Shema? “Be ready because she is coming.’
“Then the flap of the tent opened and the Holy Prophet (saw) emerged draped in a sky blue cloak. “From the other side a girl by the name of Shema appeared wearing her school uniform. “All the guards welcomed the Holy Prophet (saw) as well as the girl by forming two queues.
“The fact that this girl called Shema appeared in the dream only strengthened “my belief that this was an obscure dream, “i.e. it was a mere dream which had no meaning. “However, later on I discovered that the presence of the girl in the dream convinced me of its
“truthfulness and also the subsequent dreams that followed.” He says, “I never took notice of my dream nor did I mention it to anyone. “I did not have faith in the dream and thought seeing the girl indicated this dream was untrue.
“For this reason I did not mention it to anyone, however, only a few days had passed when I saw a “dream, which was comparatively similar to my first dream. “I saw a man who had a wheat coloured complexion. “Upon enquiry I was informed that this is the Holy Prophet (saw).
“A short while later, the Holy Prophet (saw) passed away and was buried. “I then saw a large pile of silver coins from which people would fill their buckets and “pour it over the grave of the Holy Prophet (saw).
“Once again, I did not take any notice of this dream since I did not believe in dreams, “nor did I narrate the incident to anyone. “However, the two aforementioned dreams forced me to ponder over the fact that in both of the dreams
“I had seen the Holy Prophet (saw), yet both individuals that I had seen were different. “I would ponder over the fact that the Holy Prophet (saw) had one [singular] appearance. “Furthermore, if my dreams were to be deemed as true, then why was the appearance of the “Holy Prophet (saw) different on both occasions?”
“A few days passed by and I was in the bookshop where I worked, dusting and cleaning books. “I was placing old newspapers and magazines in order when I saw a picture in one of the “newspapers which left me speechless.
“It was a picture of a girl, yet it was no ordinary girl, in fact it was Shema, “the girl who I had seen in my dream only a few days earlier. “Since I was illiterate I enquired about the story behind the picture from my friends who informed me
“that this girl had recently been killed in a terrorist attack. “As I was illiterate and had no interest in television, I was completely unaware of the “incident in question, nor had I ever heard of this incident. “Seeing the picture of Shema I was convinced about the truthfulness of my first dream,
“and the appearance of that girl was a sign of its truthfulness. “After this incident I was certain that my second dream was also true, “however, one thought that I was unable to comprehend was that if my dream was true, “then what was the meaning of seeing the Holy Prophet in different appearances?
“Many years passed by and one day, I was watching television when I came across MTA “The program Al-Hiwar Al-Mubashar was on in which they were discussing the death of Jesus (as). “I was uneducated and had little religious knowledge, “thus I began watching the program with full concentration.
“After a while, during the program Sharif Odeh Sahib said that they will take a break “in which the audience will be able to listen to the Qaseedah [Arabic poetry i.e. an Ode] “by the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi (as). “Alongside the Qaseedah a picture of a man was being displayed which astounded me.
“The picture was the same person that I saw in my second dream about whom I was informed “that it was the Holy Prophet (saw). “When the truth dawned on me I did not confide in anyone, and “along with my wife we began to watch MTA covertly.
“After a month had passed I asked my wife what her views were about this community. She said: “In my opinion this is a true and genuine community”. “I then informed her about my two dreams in which I was shown the Promised Messiah (as)
“and was informed that he was the Holy Prophet (saw); i.e. since the Promised Messiah (as) was “the most ardent devotee of the Holy Prophet (saw), “for this reason if one sees him it means that the Promised Messiah (as) “was the second coming of the Holy Prophet (saw),
“and this is exactly what the Holy Prophet (saw) had stated.” “We continued to watch MTA for the subsequent eight months, but had not performed the Bai’at. “One day my wife asked: ‘Are you not ready to perform the Bai’at?’ I said: ‘Indeed, I am.’
“After two weeks my wife asked again: ’Are you not ready to perform the Bai’at?’ “Again I replied in the same manner by saying ‘Indeed, I am ready’. “She said: ‘If this time you do not perform the Bai’at, then I will go and perform it on my own.’
“Thus, after this clear statement of my wife “I contacted the Jamaat and both of us filled out the Bai’at form.” Sometimes wives instil courage in their husbands which becomes the source of their guidance. Our missionary from Ivory Coast, Basit Sahib, writes:
“A group of people from the Kachalo village requested us to come and preach to them. “The next day along with a delegation we arrived at the village and “we started the Tabligh programme after the Ishaa prayer. “The Tabligh programme started at 10pm and continued till 3am in the morning.
“Many Muslims, Christians and Muhsrik [polytheists] were present among the audience.’ “People think that people from Africa easily accept the message, however this meeting lasted “for five-six hours and they asked many questions.” ‘The chief of the village, Mr Jimandi, also heard everything that was said during this programme
“and by the Grace of God Almighty 160 people did the Bai’at and entered the fold of Ahmadiyyat. “At 8 am we visited the house of the chief and those who had newly converted were also with us.
“It was there that the Chief related one of his dreams which he saw a year earlier in 2014. “He said that he saw he was sitting in his house and two white aeroplanes came. “One returned back before the village, while the other landed close to them on a tree.
“They then placed a ladder and climbed onto the plane and “saw that the passengers seated inside were all Muslims and gave him a book. “He came back down and looked at the book which transformed into a beautiful gold book and then “due to the sound of the Adhan he woke up.
“The chief then said that he related his dream to many Muslim Ulema [scholars] but “no one was able to give a reasonable interpretation. “One of the non-Ahmadi Maulvis [clerics] said that because he had seen gold, it was a bad sign
“so he should give him one kilogram of gold otherwise this dream could be harmful. “The Maulvi then stated that since it won’t be possible for him to give one kilogram of gold “therefore he should give him 20,000 Frank CFA and he will do something about it.
“Another cleric stated that he should give two white goats as charity.” Then, our missionary interpreted this dream for the village chief and said: ‘The two white aeroplanes mean two white cars; one was not able to reach your house, the other did.” “Both mine and Ameer Sahib’s cars are white.
“Before arriving at the village, Amir Sb came to our town but turned back midway in his white car. “The meaning of placing a ladder and climbing up on it is in fact your effort in regards to seeking “and finding out more about Islam as you listened to what was being preached till 3am.
“As for the book, it is said that the Mahdi shall distribute treasures “and you have also been given this literature which are in fact treasures. “After hearing this interpretation, the chief leaped up and with great passion “immediately announced to become a Muslim and repented from his idolatrous practises.”
Thus, God Almighty even provides the means for guidance to idolaters as well. A lady from France, Nadia Sahiba, states: “My husband was Ahmadi from before, however I had not done the Bai’at. “A short while ago, I saw a video of the persecution against the Ahmadis
“which deeply affected me and I was compelled to ponder over this. “I listened to the sermons of the Khalifa and the teachings of Islam began to impress me. “It was then that I prayed to God Almighty that O Allah! Guide me.
“During this time, I saw a dream that I was sitting in the library of France’s Masjid Mubarak, [our mosque in France] “I then saw my late father in the dream who gifted me a copy of the Holy Quran and “along with it a document. “After this dream I accepted Ahmadiyyat and
“then realised that the document which my father gave me was in fact the Bai’at form and “thus as a result of this I accepted Ahmadiyyat.” Another friend, Rizwan Sahib from Algeria, writes: “After being introduced to Ahmadiyyat, I became totally devoted to watching MTA.
“The members of my family tried to stop me from this but only by advising me against this. “However, later this advice turned into being pressured against this and “I was strictly instructed to not watch this channel. “Observing my situation, I performed the Istikhara prayer and in the night
“I saw in my dream that all five Khulafa of the Promised Messiah (as) came to my house and “I am sitting amidst them. “The dream though was brief but carried a clear message for me. “When I related this dream to the members of my family they said that this was a normal dream
“and since you are always thinking about this community therefore you experienced this dream. “I listened to what they said but at the same time thought that how is it possible that “I should call for ‘‘Zaid’’ but hearing this ‘‘Bakr’’ comes.
“When this is not possible then how can it be that I pray to God to guide me and “for this guidance the dream I witness is from Satan? “In any case, I was fully convinced with what my family members stated and in 2009 I did Bai’at.”
These were a few accounts which I have related and there are many other accounts like this. May God Almighty increase the newcomers in their faith and belief and also in their sincerity and devotion. And we, who are Ahmadis for a long time, may we also increase in our sincerity and faith.
All praise is due to Allah. We laud Him, we beseech help from Him and ask His protection; we confide in Him, we trust Him alone. and we seek protection against the evils and mischief of our souls. and from the bad results of our deeds.
Whomsoever He guides on the right path, none can misguide him; and whosoever He declares misled, none can guide him onto the right path. And we bear witness that none deserves to be worshipped except Allah. We bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
O servants of Allah! May Allah be merciful to you. Verily, Allah commands you to act with justice, to confer benefits upon each other. And to do good to others as one does to one ‘s kindred and forbids evil which pertain to your own selves;
And evils which affect others and prohibits revolts against a lawful authority. He warns you against being unmindful. You remember Allah; He too will remember you; call Him and He will make a response to your call. And verily divine remembrance is the highest virtue.
