Friday Sermon – Khalifatul Masih V – Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Year 2017

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is the Messenger of Allah. Come to Prayer Come to success Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is none worthy of worship except Allah.

Peace be upon you all, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah He is alone and has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad (saw) is His Servant and Messenger After this I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed.

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The Gracious, the Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. Guide us in the right path

The path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone astray. The Promised Messiah (as) states in one of his couplets: The time was for the appearance of the Messiah and none other Had I not appeared, another would have emerged

The era in which the Muslims were passing through was extremely worrying for those Muslims who held sympathy [for Islam]. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims were converting to Christianity. In accordance with the saying of the Holy Prophet (saw) such circumstances came about that faith had gone up to the Pleiades.

In practice, there remained no faith in the Muslims nor the true essence of Islam. Those with genuine sympathy for Islam were waiting for a Messiah to appear and to restore this sinking ship. Among them was also a pious man named Sufi Ahmad Jaan Sahib of Ludhiana.

His fame spanned across long distances and he had many followers. Due to his wisdom, once Maha Raja of Jammu invited him telling him to come to Jammu to pray for him. However, he rejected saying that if you wish for me to pray for you then you must come here.

Nevertheless, he had very renowned people amongst his followers. The Promised Messiah (as) held Sufi Ahmad Jaan Sahib in high esteem from the outset. At that time the Promised Messiah (as) had not yet made any claim and he passed away before the Promised Messiah (as) had made his claim.

Sufi Sahib himself witnessed the same time, era and circumstances of the Promised Messiah (as) and once told him: “We ailing ones all look towards thee “Become, then the Messiah, for the sake of God.” In any case, as I have mentioned he passed away before the Promised Messiah (as)

Had made any claim, yet he was certain that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad was the Imam and Messiah of this age. This is why he encouraged his children and his followers to accept him whenever he makes the claim. At any rate, the pious men possessing insight knew that

If anyone could restore the sinking ship of Islam in this age then it was Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (as) because he had silenced the enemies of Islam by writing Baraheen-e-Ahmadiyya. He possessed such literature and arguments to which the enemies had no answer.

Up until he had not made the claim, very renowned scholars had firm belief in this. However, when he made the claim by the command of God Almighty the very same scholars began to oppose him for their own personal benefit. To this day the same self-absorbed clerics are opposing him

And are building up hatred in the hearts of the Muslims at large for his Community. The Promised Messiah (as) has presented proofs in support of his claims in his countless writings, sermons and sittings. He spoke of the coming of the Messiah in accordance with the requirement of the time

And of the support given to him by God Almighty, but only those with pure hearts understood, whereas those who had malice in their hearts and were self-absorbed failed to understand. I shall now present some proofs using the words of the Promised Messiah (as) which he gave himself.

The Promised Messiah (as) explained that innovations had crept into Islam and that Islam was not in its original form. Clerics and scholars had presented their own explanations, countless innovations had taken root in the Muslims. In essence, Muslims had gone far astray from faith.

People of other faiths, in particular Christian priests were making grand schemes to attack Islam. God Almighty and His Messenger had prophesied about these conditions and prophesied of a man that would come to breathe life to Islam once again. Explaining all of this the Promised Messiah (as) stated:

“Leave our claim to one side, but ponder carefully and answer this, if you reject me then you will also have to forsake Islam. If you label me a liar then you will stray far away from Islam.

I say truly that God has protected the religion, in accordance with the promises in the Holy Quran “and the prophecy of the Holy Prophet (sa) has been fulfilled. “That is because at the exact time of need, and in accordance with the promises of God Almighty

“and the glad tidings of the Holy Prophet (saw), He established this Community. “Thus was proved that, [Arabic]- “that is to say that the words of God Almighty and His Messenger are true. “Very cruel indeed is he who rejects them.” The Promised Messiah (as) said this in 1903 and stated:

“Twenty two years have passed since I made my claim “and God Almighty’s support has been with me. “If I am an imposter then why do I have all this support from God Almighty?” He also stated that it is the need of the time

And everyone accepts that the Messiah was meant to come in this era. Furthermore, if there is a need and I am not the right one then come and present another. In any case a reformer was needed to come and reform the Muslims because the transgressions at that time had exceeded all bounds

And so did the transgressions of the Muslims. So if you are to reject him then there will be two state of affairs. Either you show us another reformer, as it is the need of the time that a reformer should appear,

Otherwise you will have to reject the promises of God Almighty and deem them all to be lies. That is to say the promise that in such bitter circumstances when there was a promise of sending a reformer, was false.

The Promised Messiah (as) also stated that there most certainly is a need of protecting the faith. It is witnessed that there are some people who say there is no need for protecting [the faith]. They are in manifest error. The Promised Messiah (as) gives the example of the one who arranges a garden

Or constructs a building, is it not his duty or his desire to make every effort to protect it and save it from the plundering of the enemies? All kinds of enclosures are made around gardens for protection, new materials are prepared to protect a house from burning and

Wires are put in place to protect from electricity. These things indicate to the innate nature in man to protect. Then is it not permitted for God Almighty to protect His religion? No doubt He does so and has protected His religion at the time of every calamity.

The Promised Messiah (as) further states that even now when there was the need, He sent me for this same purpose. Of course this matter of protection could have been doubtful and rejected, if the circumstances and need were not in its favour.

If the situation was different and the need was not in support of it then you could say that I have come at the wrong time. However, millions of books have been published to defy Islam and there is no counting just how much literature and pamphlets

Are published by the priests on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. If we compile all the abusive words which the formerly Muslim Christians of our country have written against the Leader of the sinless, Muhammad saw and his holy wives, then warehouses could be filled up with these books.

If we put them all one next to the other, they could reach a length of miles. Imaddudin was a Muslim who became a Christian priest having converted to Christianity. “Even some just Christians confessed to how dangerous his writings were.” The Christians themselves were admitting to how dangerous his writings were.

In that time a newspaper by the name of ‘Shamsul Akhbar’ used to be published in Lucknow. The opinion about this newspaper was written in some books that if there would ever be a riot in India again it would be the result of the literature which this priest writes.

Even in such circumstances they say how has Islam been corrupted? Only those people can say such things who have no real connection and sympathy for Islam or those who have grown up in the veils of darkness and have no idea of the outside world.

If there are such people, then we worry not about them. But those who possess light in their hearts, who have love and a link with Islam and are aware of the situation of the time, they have no choice but to accept that this is the era of a great reformer.

Mentioning all the testimonies for the coming of a reformer, the Promised Messiah (as) presents a wonderful example. He states that “I present a wonderful testimony which is the promise of caliphate in Surah Nur, “in which God Almighty says: [Arabic]”. In accordance with the promise of caliphate in this verse,

The caliphate which will follow the Holy Prophet (saw) will be similar to the caliphate which was before. Likewise, the Holy Prophet (saw) has been deemed the likeness of Moses. God Almighty states: [Arabic] He (as) states that the Holy Prophet (saw) is the likeness of Moses in accordance with the prophecy of Deuteronomy.

This is written in the book of Deuteronomy of the Bible. Hence, just as this similarity is expressed in the word Kamaa [like or just as] to it is expressed with the same word Kamaa in Surah Al-Nur. It is absolutely clear from this that there is perfect similarity

Between the Mosaic dispensation and the dispensation of Muhammad. The system of caliphate ended with Jesus who came fourteen centuries after Moses. With regards to this similarity, at the very least it is necessary for a caliph to appear fourteen century later in the same manner of the Messiah [Jesus]

And also similar in letter and spirit. ‘If God Almighty did not present any other proofs, then at the very least this resemblance naturally ‘demanded that a spiritual reflection of Jesus be sent in the fourteenth century from amongst the

‘Ummah of the Holy Prophet (sa), otherwise, God forbid, a flaw and blemish would be proven in his ‘resemblance. However, Allah the Exalted did not only testify to and support this resemblance, ‘but He also proved the likeness of Moses [the Holy Prophet (saw)]

To be superior to all other prophets, may peace be upon them all.’ In other words, the Holy Prophet (saw) is greater than Moses and all other prophets. The Promised Messiah (as) says, ‘As the Messiah Jesus [as] did not bring a new law ‘and came to fulfil the Torah,

‘similarly the Messiah of the dispensation of Muhammad not bring a law of his own. ‘Rather, he has come for the revival and completion of the Holy Qur’an, ‘which is called the completion of the spread of guidance.’ Then, elaborating on the completion of the spread of guidance, the Promised Messiah (as) says:

‘With regards to the completion of the spread of guidance it should be remembered ‘that there are two phases to the completion of the favours of ‘Allah the Exalted upon the Holy Prophet (saw) ‘and the perfection of religion (i.e. when religion was brought to perfection); ‘firstly, the perfection and completion of guidance

‘and secondly, the completion of the spread of guidance.’ In other words, complete guidance was received and it was brought to its perfection and secondly, the spread [thereof] was completed. The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘The perfection of guidance was achieved in ‘every aspect through the first advent of the Holy Prophet (saw)

‘and the completion of the spread of guidance was achieved through his second advent.’ The law was revealed during the time of the Holy Prophet (saw) through which guidance had been perfected. Following this, during his second advent, when the Promised Messiah (as)

Was to be raised as the true lover of the Holy Prophet (saw), this guidance was going to be spread. The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘As the verse of Surah Al-Jumu’ah [Arabic] provides guidance for ‘another nation to be prepared through the blessings and teachings of the Holy Prophet (saw),

‘one clearly understands that the Holy Prophet (saw) was going to have a second advent. Furthermore, this advent was metaphorical, which we are currently witnessing. Hence, this is the time for the completion of the spread of guidance and this is ‘the very reason why everything

‘with regards to the spread of the Shari’ah is reaching its completion. ‘The abundance of printing facilities, the continuity of new developments, post offices, ‘telegrams, the commencement of railways and airplanes and the publication of newspapers; ‘all of these things put together have turned the world into a global.’ The world has been gathered together.

Furthermore, today and in this era, the world has been gather together even further through social media, the internet and other things such as the television etc. The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘Thus, these developments are in fact also part of the progress

‘of the Holy Prophet (saw) as the second aspect of the perfection of his absolute guidance, ‘the completion of the spread of guidance, is being fulfilled through the means thereof.’ Then, mentioning another similarity between the Mosaic Messiah and the Messiah of Muhammad (saw),

The Promised Messiah (as) says, ‘This is in accordance with the statement ‘of the Messiah [Jesus] as he said that I have come to fulfil the Torah ‘and I say that another responsibility of mine is to complete the spread of guidance.’ The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘Apart from this, similar adversities

‘to those that had arisen during the time of Prophet Jesus(as), are present today. ‘The internal condition of Jews had deteriorated greatly. ‘Furthermore, history testifies to the fact that they had abandoned the commandments of the Torah and had instead given precedence to the Talmud and the traditions of their elders.’

Currently, a similar state has developed within Muslims as well. The book of Allah has been abandoned and instead, emphasis is laid on traditions and stories.’ The Promised Messiah (as) further says, ‘Apart from all of this, there is yet another undisclosed ‘fact, which completes this resemblance

‘(there is another aspect, which completes this resemblance and similarity) ‘and that is that Jesus emphasised moral teachings and came in order to reform Mosaic wars. ‘He did not yield a sword. ‘The very same was destined for the Promised Messiah (as) ‘in that he would establish the beauty of Islam

‘through the practical truths of its teachings, ‘thus refuting the allegation which was levelled against Islam in the same manner ‘that Islam was spread through the sword. ‘This allegation will be removed once and for all during the time of the Promised Messiah.’ In other words, the Promised Messiah (as) will speak against it.

As a matter of fact, he will preach that Islam teaches love and affection and that it was spread in this very manner. Therefore, this allegation will be removed during the time of the Promised Messiah (as). The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘The reason for this is that he will manifest to

‘the world the living blessings of Islam. ‘Furthermore, this will prove that even as today, in this era of progress, ‘Islam is influential and beneficial merely as a result of its pure teachings, ‘blessings and fruits, it has in fact always, in every era found to be beneficial and influential.

‘The reason for this is that it is a living religion and this is the very reason why, ‘when foretelling the advent of the Messiah, the Holy Prophet (saw) said [Arabic], ‘that he will do away with wars (he will put an end to them). ‘Now, gather all of these testimonies and tell me,

‘is there not a need for a heavenly man to descend at this time? ‘When it has been accepted that the appearance of a reformer is necessary ‘at the beginning of the century, then there must surely be a reformer for this century.

‘Furthermore, when the Holy Prophet (saw) has been given resemblance to Moses (as), ‘it is necessary in relation to this resemblance for the reformer of this century to be the Messiah. ‘The reason for this is that the Messiah [Jesus] appeared in the fourteenth century after Moses

And we are currently in the fourteenth century [following the advent of the Holy Prophet (saw)].’ Then, mentioning the fact that if you deny and reject me, you are in fact rejecting Allah the Exalted and the Holy Prophet (saw). The Promised Messiah (as) says: ‘To deny me is not only my denial

‘but is the denial of Allah and His Messenger (saw) ‘for he who holds me to be a liar, first considers God to have lied- God forbid. ‘The reason for this is that he observes ‘that the internal and external disorder has exceeded all bounds, ‘yet, despite His promise of [Arabic],

‘God the Exalted has not made any arrangements to reform them. [Another reason for people calling God a liar, God forbid, is:] That he apparently believes in the fact that God the Exalted promised in the Ayat-e-Istikhlaf [verse relating to caliphate], that in similitude to the Mosaic dispensation, He will also establish a continuous system

‘of caliphs within the dispensation of Muhammad. ‘However, He has, God forbid, not fulfilled this promise and there is currently no caliph in this Ummah. ‘Furthermore, this does not end here. ‘Rather, he will also have to deny the fact that the Holy Qur’an has ‘called the Holy Prophet (saw) the likeness of Moses.

‘This is also incorrect, God forbid, as for the absolute resemblance and similarity of this ‘dispensation it was necessary for a Messiah to be born from this very Ummah in the fourteenth ‘century, as a Messiah appeared in the fourteenth century in the Mosaic dispensation.

‘Similarly, he will also have to falsify this verse of the Holy Qur’an ‘[Arabic] [And among others from among them who have not yet joined them], ‘which informs us of the advent of a person [who is to appear] in the same spirit ‘and manner of the Holy Prophet (saw).

Similarly, he will have to reject many other verses of the Holy Qur’an.’ The Promised Messiah (as) said, ‘Reflect then how serious a thing it is to deny me. I do not say it on my own, but swear in the name of God

That he who rejects me and denies me may not reject the Qur’an by word of mouth but he does so in effect and cuts himself off from God and the Holy Qur’an’ The Promised Messiah (as) further says, ‘Rejecting me is in fact not my rejection.

‘Rather, it is a rejection of the Holy Prophet (saw). ‘Now, before anyone demonstrates his courage to deny and reject me, he should reflect in his heart and ask whom he is in fact rejecting.’ Further elaborating on the point that if one rejects the Promised Messiah (as), in fact rejects the Holy Prophet (saw).

The Promised Messiah (as) states: ‘How does this equate to the rejection of the Holy Prophet (saw)? ‘When I say rejection, it is because the Holy Prophet (saw) had prophesied that a promised ‘reformer shall appear at the head of every century and therefore this prophecy, ‘God forbid, would be false.

‘Also, the prophecy of Imamukum minkum, ‘i.e. that he will be an Imam from among you, will also, God forbid, be false. ‘And, the glad-tiding given of the advent of a Messiah and Mahdi will appear during the time of ‘the perils surrounding the Christian doctrines, that too will, God forbid, prove false

‘because the Fitna [disorder] is present but the Imam has not appeared. When one accepts all this, then does he not practically deny the Holy Prophet (saw)?’ The Promised Messiah (as) further states: ‘I announce it plainly that it is not a trivial matter to denounce me.

‘He who calls me a kafir will have to become a kafir first. ‘He who describes me as faithless and misguided ‘will have to confess his own error and humiliation. ‘He who charges me with departing from the Qur’an and Hadith ‘will have first departed from them himself,

‘and even then it will only be him who will be abandoning it. ‘I affirm the truthfulness of the Qur’an and Hadith and am in turn affirmed by them. ‘I am not misguided but am the Mahdi [Guided One]

And I am not a Kafir but an embodiment of [the verse]: ‘I am the first to believe’. God has revealed to me that whatever I say is the truth. Whoever has faith in God and believes in the truth of the Holy Qur’an and the Holy Prophet,

It should be enough for him to listen to me in silence. But what remedy is there for him who is impertinent and disrespectful! God Himself will admonish him. Mentioning some of the signs for advent of the Promised Messiah’s, the Promised Messiah (as) states:

‘In actuality, the emergence of the railway is one of the signs of the advent of the Promised Messiah ‘and the Holy Quran also alludes to this, that is, [Arabic] ‘when the she camels, ten month pregnant, are abandoned.’ Piety comes with righteousness and if these people ponder carefully they would clearly

Realise that the words, the she camel shall be abandoned, refers to the emergence of the railway. However, if this does not refer to the railway, then it is incumbent upon them to inform us of the event that shall cause the camels to be abandoned.

The earlier scriptures also allude to this fact that the means of travel would become easier in the time of the Messiah.’ The Promised Messiah (as) further states: ‘So many signs have been fulfilled that these ‘people have withdrawn from even engaging in this discussion.

‘For instance, did the lunar and solar eclipse in the month of Ramadan not take place ‘just as it had been stated in the signs for the advent of the Mahdi? ‘Similarly, since the beginning of creation, no such mode of transport has been invented.’ The Promised Messiah (as) states:

‘The signs signify that the Promised Messiah has appeared. ‘If these people do not believe me to be the one ‘then they should search for someone else and who he is because the signs which were ‘prophesied for his advent have all been fulfilled.’ The Promised Messiah (as) further states:

‘If you want to investigate my truthfulness then ‘do so in view of the arguments presented by the previous prophets and follow this path. ‘Try to ponder over these arguments you find with pious intention and see it as your good fortune.

‘However, if you remain stubborn then you shall not be able to see anything, ‘in fact in such an instance even the Holy Quran cannot guide you. ‘Judge this community on the precepts of the prophets and then see whose side the truth is on. ‘One can avail nothing from the principals and

‘proposals created of his own and ‘nor do I claim to prove my truthfulness by such fictitious things. ‘I present my claim on the precepts of the prophets, ‘therefore why is it that you do not judge the truthfulness of my claim on this principal. ‘I have firm conviction that whosoever listen to me with

‘an open heart shall benefit from it and will accept. ‘However, those who harbour malice and rancour in their hearts, ‘my words will have no benefit for them. ‘Their example is like that of a person who is squint-eyed and sees double. ‘Regardless of however many arguments are presented to such a person to prove

That what he sees is only one, he will never accept this.’ The Promised Messiah (as) relates an incident: ‘A squint-eyed man worked as a servant. ‘His master once told him to bring a mirror from inside. ‘He went inside and came back out saying that there were two mirrors which one shall he bring?

‘The master replied that there is only one mirror not two. ‘Upon this the squint-eyed man replied that does this mean that he is a liar ‘because he saw two mirrors and yet he is saying there is only one. ‘The master then replied that then he should break one of them.

‘When he broke the mirror, he realised that in fact he was in the wrong and there was only one mirror.’ The Promised Messiah (as) therefore states: ‘Thus, what shall I say to such squint-eyed people who challenge me? ‘I have observed that if they ever present anything it is only from the Ahadith

‘which they themselves do not consider it to be anything more than conjecture. ‘They do not realise that soon a time shall come when people will mock their ridiculous beliefs. ‘It is the right of every seeker of truth that he demands proof for the truthfulness of my claim

‘and I shall present the same [proofs] as the prophets did. ‘That is, the Holy Quran and Ahadith and the rationale arguments ‘i.e. the needs of our present time which call for a reformer. ‘Then, there are also those signs which God Almighty has manifested through me.

‘I have outlined a compilation in which over 150 signs were given to me ‘and were witnessed by millions of people.’ The Promised Messiah (as) states: ‘Presenting such frivolous matters is not the way of a good natured person.

‘It is for this very reason that the Holy Prophet (saw) stated that the one who shall appear ‘will be a Hakam [judge] and one should accept his decision. ‘Those who are mischievous at heart, they do not want to accept ‘and that is why they present such frivolous excuses and allegations.

‘However, remember, that according to His promise, ‘ultimately God shall demonstrate my truthfulness with mighty assaults. ‘I firmly believe that if I did all of this from my own volition, He would have surely destroyed me ‘immediately, however all my endeavours are in fact His doings and I have come from him.

‘To reject me is to reject Him therefore He Himself shall manifest my truthfulness.’ ‘The stubborn nature of the Maulvis [clerics] as we observe today ‘was also present at the time of the ‘Promised Messiah (as) as he mentioned that neither do they wish to speak ‘with arguments and nor listen.

‘The same is their state today’. Further expounding on these signs, the Promised Messiah (as) states: ‘Firstly, the Holy Quran, in accordance to the prophecy of the Torah, ‘has declared him as appearing in the likeness of Moses (as). ‘Owing to this likeness, as has been mentioned earlier,

‘just as the Mosaic institution of Khilafat [successorship] ‘was established, thus the institution of Khilafat was established after the Holy Prophet (saw). ‘Even if there were no other arguments in support of this, ‘however this resemblance naturally requires for an institution of Khilafat. ‘Secondly, in Ayyat-e-Istikhlaaf [the verse with the promise of Khilafat],

‘God Almighty has clearly promised to establish the institution of Khilafat ‘and this intuition has been likened to the earlier institution of successorship, as it states, ‘as He made Successors from among those who were before them.’’ The Promised Messiah (as) further states:

‘Thus, according to the promise of Khilafat and in view of the likeness of the two, ‘it was necessary that the chief of the Khulafa in the Holy Prophet’s dispensation be a Messiah ‘just as the chief of the Khulafa in the Mosaic dispensation was the Messiah. ‘Thirdly, the Holy Prophet (saw) stated, Imamukum Minkum,

‘i.e. that he shall be your Imam from among you. ‘Fourthly, the Holy Prophet (saw) stated that a reformer shall appear at the head of ‘every century in order to rejuvenate faith. ‘Thus, it was necessary for are former to appear in this century

‘and the duty of a reformer is to reform the present day disorders. (His duty is to reform the current disorders wherever they may be). ‘Presently, the gravest form of disorder is from Christianity. ‘Therefore, it is necessary for the reformer of this century to be the one

‘who breaks the cross and who shall also the Promised Messiah. ‘Fifthly, in view of the resemblance with the Mosaic dispensation, ‘it is important that the chief of the Khulafa ‘to appear in the 14th century because the messiah [Jesus] ‘appeared in the 14th century after Prophet Moses (as)’.

“The sixth aspect is that amongst the signs of the advent of the Promised Messiah many of them have “been fulfilled, for example the eclipse of the sun and the moon in the month of Ramadhan – which occurred twice – denial of permission for Hajj, the appearance of the “Zun Naseem” star,

The outbreak of the plague, abandoning the use of the camel in light of the railway. The seventh sign is that it has been stated in Surah Al-Fatihah that the appointed one would be from among this [Muslim] Ummah.

In fact the signs are not limited to one or two, rather there are hundreds of sign which indicate that the one who to be appointed was to be from among this Ummah and this is the specified time.

I proclaim on the basis of Divine revelation that I am the one who was to appear. Whoever wishes, can demand from me proof of my truthfulness according to the manner in which God Almighty has always proved the truthfulness of the Prophets.

Anyone who desires can see this and you should bear witness to these signs in my favour. When I see the conditions of my opponents I feel pity for them. The very signs that they would present previously, now that they have been fulfilled, they begin to question the authenticity of those narrations.

For instance: initially they would demand to be shown the sign of the eclipse of the sun and the moon, [known as] the Khasoof o Kasoof , the Promised Messiah (as) then states: “They now say the Hadith in which the prophecy was mentioned is false.

“One should deliberate over the matter that if a prophecy has been fulfilled, “how can one then declare it to be false? “Regrettably, they do not feel shame over the fact that by rejecting the Promised Messiah “they are also rejecting the Holy Prophet (saw).

“The eclipse of the sun and the moon is not the only sign to prove my truthfulness, “rather there are thousands of arguments and proofs. “Even if one is not [currently] fulfilled, that does not affect the situation in the slightest “except in that the prophecy was inaccurate.

“Dejectedly, through their enmity of me they wish “to declare a prophecy by the Leader of the Truthful “[the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw)] to be false, “yet we unequivocally present this prophecy “as the truthfulness of our Master [the Holy Prophet (saw).”

The Promised Messiah (as) continues by saying: “Thus, through this incident mentioned in the hadith, which you considered to have been etched with the ink of conjecture, then becomes undeniable. Denying it now is unfaithfulness and a curse. Regarding the Mawdu’ [fabricated] Ahadith, will the Muhadditheen [a person with an in depth

Knowledge of the Ahadith] say that they have discovered a liar? No! They will only say that the individual’s memory was inaccurate. Regarding the Ahadith which are incorrect, the Muhadditheen always state that such and such individuals memory was inexact or the individual was not pious or there would be reservations over his truthfulness.”

The Promised Messiah (as) then says: “However, the Muhadditheen have accepted “this principle that if a hadith appears to be weak, however if the prophecy contained in the “hadith is fulfilled then that hadith falls within the criteria of a true hadith as no individual would have the right to declare it to be false.”

The Promised Messiah (as) states: “Thus, remember “this well that the one to appear can only be judged from the clear “and unambiguous verses of the Quran that support him. “Furthermore, there should be preceding signs accompanied with him as “reason does not accept anything without examples, hence there should also be physical signs.”

“The examples are also physical signs which are granted as a proof. The Promised Messiah (as) then states: “The greatest sign is that God Almighty grants “that person divine succour. “If any individual has any doubt about the conditions of propethood “should come to me and ask for proofs of my truthfulness.

“If I am a liar I will run away. “However I shall not. God Almighty mentioned a revelation nineteen years age” (when the Promised Messiah (as) wrote this nineteen years since the time of his call). In this passage the Promised Messiah (as) is referring to a revelation

He received nineteen years previously in which God Almighty stated: [Arabic] which means that “Allah will help you in many fields”. The Promised Messiah (as) continues by saying: “Thus, you should asses my claim in the same “manner in which the claims of all prophets or messengers are analysed.

I openly declare that you will find me to be true of the same criteria.” We can see clearly that God Almighty has helped the Promised Messiah (as) across many fields. The Promised Messiah (as) further states: “I have mentioned this briefly. “You should ponder over these matters and seek help from God.

“He is All Powerful and can pave a way for support, “for His divine succour is granted only to the truthful ones.” “In one of the gatherings there was mention of Maulvis [religious clerics]. One of the individuals in that gathering said: “Your Holiness, Maulvis have now stopped delivering any lecture

“from which the death of Jesus (as) can be deduced.” To this the Promised Messiah (as) replied: “Now they will not even mention his name “and if someone enquires about it they will say to abandon the thought of a Messiah and Mahdi.” “Nevertheless, this is the condition of the Maulvis.

For their personal interests they oppose the Promised Messiah (as) and not only this, but in fact they invent fabrications and lies about the beliefs of the Ahmadiyya Community in an attempt to instil hatred amongst the common Muslims for the Ahmadiyya Community.

Whilst explaining the way to find out the truth, the Promised Messiah (as) said: “If you wish to find the true path, then pray to God Almighty in your worship “for Him to make the truth evident for you.” The Promised Messiah (as) continues by saying: “If an individual prays to God Almighty to

“manifest the truth before him, in a manner that is free from all prejudice and stubbornness, “then I say with conviction that forty days shall not pass “before the truth will be made evident for them.” Provided that one seeks the truth from God Almighty with a clear conscious. The Promised Messiah (as) then states: “There are but a few who desire to seek from God “Almighty according to these conditions and due to their prejudice and stubbornness “they reject the appointed one of God, thereby relinquishing their faith.

“The reason for this is if an individual rejects the appointed one of God “- who acts like an anchor of prophethood, then that person also rejects the prophet, “and by rejecting the prophet one denies God Almighty, thereby losing his faith altogether.”

May God Almighty guide the Muslims in a way that instead of accepting what their clerics tell them, they see reason themselves and sincerely seek succour from God Almighty. May God Almighty open their hearts and by accepting the Promised Messiah (as) may He remove them from the dire situation of the Muslim world.

They are in complete disarray and see no way of escape. Presently in Pakistan, new organisations are being formed such as “Labaik Ya Rasoolallah”, who recently staged a march; at first they encircled Lahore and then encircled Islamabad. Then another organisation with a similar name has enclosed Islamabad

And the government nor the army can prevent them from doing this. It is us Ahmadis who can truly say Labaik Ya Rasoolallah [Here we are, O Messenger of God] as we are the ones who responded to the Holy Prophet (saw) when he said

“the Messiah and Mahdi will appear, and when he does you should send my greeting to him”. This is the correct way to respond to the Holy Prophet (saw). Alas, if only they would understand the true meaning of Labbaik Ya Rasoolallah rather than raising hollow slogans.

May Allah the Almighty protect the world, as well as Pakistan and every other Muslim country from chaos and disorder. May God Almighty grant His special mercy for the Muslims, because the current climate in which there are organised schemes against the Muslim world are extremely frightening.

If they do not see reason now, they will regret it in the future. May Allah have mercy. All praise is due to Allah. We laud Him, we beseech help from Him and ask His protection; we confide in Him, we trust Him alone

And we seek protection against the evils and mischief of our souls and from the bad results of our deeds. Whomsoever He guides on the right path, none can misguide him; and whosoever He declares misled, none can guide him onto the right path.

And we bear witness that none deserves to be worshipped except Allah. We bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O servants of Allah! May Allah be merciful to you. Verily, Allah commands you to act with justice, to confer benefits upon each other

And to do good to others as one does to one ‘s kindred and forbids evil which pertain to your own selves and evils which affect others and prohibits revolts against a lawful authority. He warns you against being unmindful. You remember Allah; He too will remember you;

Call Him and He will make a response to your call. And verily divine remembrance is the highest virtue.
